I’m cleaning out my fridge today and seeing what kind of leftovers and random food items I need to use up.

Happy Friday! I’m starting a new series again- Use it Up pantry challenge! How many days can we stay out of the store?? Fresh produce is important to me, so I’ll probably go next week for that, but I’m hoping for several* days without anything else!

Haha I’m so glad! Lol it’s definitely real life. We try to stay organized but there are always messes and upkeep.

I've never heard of putting strawberries in mason jars, def going to give that a try. Living in south FL, it seems like everything goes bad way too fast. I keep all our bread in the fridge for that reason, and even slightly not-ripe strawberries seem to get mush within 5 days in the fridge, so I'm hoping your trick works, thanks!
I hope so! I was shocked at how long berries last in the jars. They go bad in a couple days otherwise for us.
Good morning, Leah! Love the video, always inspires me to clean out my fridge/pantry! I was intrigued by the spicy crab that you mentioned, have you made that on a video before? I would love to try that out.
Hey! I’m so glad the video is inspiring! The spicy crab is so simple. Just some imitation crab meat shredded up with a bit of mayo and sriracha!

OMGsh, I don't know why it's never dawned on me to mash up our over-ripe bananas before putting them in the freezer - it will save so much space!! Thanks for the idea!!!!
It’s a game changer! It just dawned on me recently actually. I put them in a bag and then thought… um… this could lay flat… so I mashed them while they were in the bag lol
Do you wash the berries before putting them in the jar? Or would that cause them to soak up the liquids and go bad?
I actually do not wash them ahead of time. I see people do was berries in prep videos but I just wait until we are ready to eating each serving. I’m not sure how it would work

I’m so glad! Yes, I cater. I do individual lunches twice a week, large dessert orders, and sometimes I get big catering orders. It’s really fun!

You should be able to go a long time! What is friendship bread? I swear I have friends, but I've never gotten any friendship bread! I was going to try a no spend grocery month but I got another 1/2 off 2 orders of imperfect foods so what's a girl to do? SHOP, that's what she's a gonna do!
Haha! The friendship bread that I’ve had is a simple cinnamon sugar flavored bread like banana etc and you have a starter in a bag that you give to a friend, they feed it, and then make more bread with it. Give a loaf and some of the starter to a new friend. And it goes on!
I love that you got more discounts on imperfect foods! I would love that.
