Police bodycam footage caught this cop bullying a senior citizen.
Officer Johan Mulero: [Shoves Kidd to the ground] Sit down. Sit down. Do you understand that? When I tell you to do something, you do it.

Officer Johan Mulero: No, I need you to listen. That’s what’s up.
Officer Johan Mulero, then 32, made this ‘unlawful arrest’ in 2017.
Allan Kidd: I’m just standing on the street corner, talking to this guy I just met, and all of a sudden you’re pushing me down and being real physical with me.
Officer Johan Mulero: Yeah. You know why?
Allan Kidd: No, I don’t know why.
Officer Johan Mulero: Lower your voice. Lower your voice.
Officer Johan Mulero:
Then 69-year-old Allan Kidd is a veteran who was a military police officer.
Officer Johan Mulero: Do you have ID on you, sir?
Allan Kidd: Yes, sir. I sure do. I don’t understand why you’re doing this, why you’re pushing me around.
Officer Johan Mulero: Because I don’t like people testing me.
Allan Kidd: I don’t like f*cking nazis either, ok?

Allan Kidd: Are you done? Can I show you my ID?
Officer Johan Mulero: Give me your arm.
Allan Kidd: Can I show you my ID? [...]
Allan Kidd: I’ve done nothing wrong.

Kidd spent two days in jail for ‘resisting an officer without violence.’
Officer Johan Mulero: When you walk up to an officer and you get that close to an officer, and it’s not good. Why? Because now you’re in my personal space. So I am telling you to back up.
Allan Kidd: So it’s ok for you -
Officer Johan Mulero: And when you don’t back up -
Allan Kidd: - to get in my personal space?
Officer Johan Mulero: ’Cause when I give you an order -
Allan Kidd: Because you’re on a power trip.
Officer Johan Mulero: Because when I give you an order and you don’t follow it, that’s what happens. I told you to back up and you didn’t. I told you to back up again or I’m gonna sit you down and you didn’t. So I sat you down. That’s how it works.

Officer Johan Mulero: Yes.
Mulero was fired after the full body cam video surfaced a year later since the arrest ‘lacked any probable cause & therefore any legal basis.’
Allan Kidd: You’re on a power trip, is that what it is?
DeLand Police say they will now review every arrest of this charge. The police chief said Mulero underwent the de-escalation trainings required of all officers, but failed to use the skills he had learned.

The exact same thing happened to me but I had 2 officers acting like power hungry adult kids, is what I call them. They both were yelling at me like I'm some murderer or something. I wish I was exaggerating but I never heard someone shout at me that loud. It got louder and louder because I kept responding and asking them what I did wrong but in a calm manner. So then they told me If i'm not going to shut up they are going to arrest my friends instead. Obviously they were lying but my friends at the time were a little young so they got scared and pressured me to comply and be a beta male for 0 reason chilling outside and doing jackshit.

This is why when you are approached by a police officer the only thing you should say is, ask them if they would like your ID and as of now I will remain silent until I am able to speak with an attorney. Say nothing after that no matter how much they try to provoke you or threaten you with arrest. Remain silent. Their whole reason of talking to you is to get you to say something they can use against you or get you to act out of fear or self preservation.

I retired from the Army after 21 years, all as an infantryman. During my time of service I was deployed 4 times to the middle east and 2 times to Africa.. After retiring I became a deputy US Marshal. With this being said, it absolutely appalls me to watch this police officer treat that veteran in such a manner. It is embarrassing and shameful. I have always made it a point to be respectful, even at times when dealing with violent subjects. I hope that everyone knows that most of us are good, hardworking people doing a thankless job. And we do it because we care. It's that 10% that makes us all look bad. God bless

This video has cut out the part when the vet aggressively approached the officer and got in his face all angry. They only show later on after he has been talked to calmly for ages and doesn't listen. This video has been very heavily edited. Also the cop wasn't fired they made that bit up entirely.
@@richbob9155 This video is not "heavily edited" as you claim. I saw the unedited version, and the vet is not aggressive at all. He walks toward the officer, and the officer loses his cool. If you think walking toward somebody is an act of aggression, you must spend your days on edge constantly. Also, the officer was fired but was reinstated later down the line. So the video did not make up the firing. He was re-hired because his union stepped in. Police unions have way too much power and protect the dirtiest of dirtball cops no matter the circumstances. Cops need to stop behaving like beasts. It is not illegal to approach a cop. It is not illegal to question a cop. It is not even illegal to insult a cop. The vet made no verbal or physical threat whatsoever. This cop indeed was on a power trip. I'd hate to see how he treats his wife and children if he has a family.

"Cop was fired" is NOT good enough. He didn't sit inside a jail cell for assault like any of us would have. Instead he's probably working on some other police force, telling the "really funny story" about that one time he beat up an uppity senior citizen and got off.
