I agree, we do need a 2nd goalkeeper, but signing Aaron Ramsdale won't come cheap. He would cost almost the same fee as Kelleher.

Not sure he's up for the increase in intensity. He's fallen a bit flat a few European games and in the Dutch squad he didn't always look comfortable. Would hate to see Mats go to the PL and be dissapointing

in all honesty as Feyenoord fan Wieffer is really good at Feyenoord but i don't think he is good enough for a topteam in the premier league. even though wieffer did play good in european matches against lazio celtic atletico madrid as roma i think he isn't able to excel in a topteam in england i think it will go to fast for him.
@@enduranceochonogor6291 Please dont mention Atalanta bro 😭 Ederson is a good shout though, especially with Endo being one of the senior members we definitely need a young defensive midfielder to slowly integrate into the squad. I'd say the defence is in more need of reinforcements though, with ageing players, we have less depth there than the midfield. Nonetheless a couple of signings this summer would really help Slot to do his best in the new season.

Nah, hes to weak and not good enough tbh for the DM role. What we need is a strong and tall DM (Like Fabinho was for us). Just look at how good City is when Rodri plays.

Slot has pretty much been brought because of his history in developing young players from the academy. Remember what Klopp said "don't forget the young guys when the transfer window open". Bradley will be developed at RB, Bajcetic more likely at the 6 role. Danns has shown some interesting qualities when he got minutes as a 9. Who knows what youngsters Pep Linjders has talked about if he talked to Slot, he has always been big on bringing youngsters through too, he was also pushing for Trent in MF pretty hard under Klopp from his own admission.
We have some amazing young players in the academy bring them back into the team becouse thay no how we play I'm not sure about this slot as manager for our club

Hancko from Feyenoord is really amazing if liverpool can get him they have a great player he can play left center defender but also leftback and he got the level to succeed in the premier league

a left-footed defender and a left-footed attacker are priorities, Liverpool got Endo, Macca, Jones, Bajcetic, Morton and potentially Gravenberch and Trent for the double pivot, there is no need to waste money there
endo, jones, gravenberch, are common players. Don't confuse quantity with quality, with this we will continue without gaining anything important
Whilst at feyenoord, Slot was scouting a player by the name of Luciano Rodriguez. Uruguayan national who can occupy all areas of attack ( Wing/Striker) This player is quite young but has proven himself by getting called up to the national team. He plays for a club that is also called Liverpool. You should check him out he could be a very good back up to Darwin and can occupy the salah slot efficiently

We have Bajcetic for CDM. Faster than Wieffer, more creative than Ugarte, Valera lower cieling than Bajcetic and Ederson is less creative and does not pass creatively…. Bajcetic is the No 6 solution

Inancio is a non-starter. Liverpool have no interested. It's just hype by his agent to drive up the price / flush out other potential clubs.
My only concern is that Slot signs his favorite Eredevise players and they can't keep up wit the pace in England. But i don't think the new transfer setup will allow that.

GK - remember that until he actually played, nobody had any idea if Kelleher was any good - he hadn't even been out on loan. If the club has any faith in their young keepers (Jaros, Ojrzynski, Pitalgua, Davies) i imagine they will want to promote one of them to be no.2
CB - hes not left footed, but i imagine Slot will take an interest in van der berg before deciding on incomings (personally I'd be happy to sell Konate, hes just a faster version of Lovrenand prone to similar errors)
DM - Bajcetic might be the answer long term, Endo is a useful squad player and may actually be more involved at CB under Slot. I also think Slot might choose to develop Jones as a DM but that will take time, a TAA / Mac Allister double pivot would be good to watch but probably lacks the necessary discipline to shield the defense
I think going forward, theyre well stocked and can only see purchases if players leave
Basically DM and maybe a LB to develop behind Robbo would be my priorities for this summer

The rumours of a quiet summer are worrying tbh. I’m not sure if there’s enough non-home grown slots for slot to get the necessary players to slot into his system. I would’ve like 3 or 4 players but I’m not sure it’s possible. A centre back, a dm and an attacker I think are very important but another midfielder wouldn’t go amiss.

@@neildylanyoung I don’t think Carvahlo or Elliott count as homegrown. And I saw something earlier that said we only had 2 non home grown slots to fill this summer which isn’t very many so we wouldn’t be able to get the 4 players you suggest. I also don’t think Thuram is the dm we need.

He’s 22. He might want to move to Sturm Graz permanently, but if he doesn’t, he’s way better than any championship keeper
