If I didn't want to use boiled fondant as a glue would craft glue work as well, or piping gel? Sorry for all the questions but the one time I tried to do this it cracked/was overly dry
My bow came out beautiful and I am so happy that I took a photo because the next morning the bow went flat! I needed to prepare the cake the day before the party...I made my loops 5 days prior and they were nice and dry. Could you tell me why it flattened?
You could use water, however, it will likely not be as strong as an adhesive and will make the texture of the fondant sticky and that can affect the color if you are using colored fondant.
Made the loops with the Wilton Pearls Fondant Ribbon and the result was awesome!! Plus the taste of the fondant ribbon is great! Quality product!
