this is the best tutorial on RUclips for making a bow! i needed to make a bowtie for my mothers cake this weekend and managed to make one last night following this tutorial! just subscribed to this channel and loving how you break everything down to small manageable steps, looking forward to more videos!
Thankyou so much for the clear instructions. You're a pleasure to watch. I've just started working with fondant and your videos are always my go to. 🙌🙌

Try Fantasia Fondant, you won't regret it. It is a very forgiving fondant with a long work time, which makes it easy to work with for beginners and pros. Fantasia Fondant is formulated with elasticity making it a high performing fondant when covering cakes or performing in silicon cake molds. The colors of Fantasia Fondant are vivid and fadeproof. This fondant will not prematurely dry, crack, tear, break and 'elephant skin.' Offers a less sweet taste that resembled a homemade marshmallow fondant.
Amazing video. thank you for sharing. followed it.made one today. a bit of cracking ... so hard to roll this out.... a bit thick too I think.. but at least I tried it.
yay! I am excited to see, i tried making one before and my rosettes would just kind of slide off and I didn't know why so maybe showing what kind of buttercream you would use for the cake would be so helpful ! ❤️ Have a happy easter
How do dry a fondant decoration??? Please share some tips. Whenever i used fondant decoration, its just got soften and when put in whipped it got slipped😑
Hi Masen, With fondant decorations you want to leave them out at room temperature in a cool dry place, so they don't get too warm. You can pop them into a cardboard cake box. Try and keep them out of plastic containers with the lids on as it makes them sweat. Also putting fondant decorations in the fridge can also make them sweat as they absorb the moisture from the fridge. I hope this helps.
Great instruction video, so much better than others I've tried to follow, are you using just normal shop bought fondant (i.e Renshaw) or have you bought harder drying sugar/florist paste? If normal, did you strengthen it with Tylo? Thanks :-)
Yes definitely. It will be a little softer than with gumpaste so you will have to leave it a little longer to dry, but fondant will work fine too. Depending on the size if you are making a really large bow you could always add a little tylos powder into your fondant to help it set a little harder.

Can we use fondant instead of gum paste
Yes definitely. It will be a little softer than with gumpaste so you will have to leave it a little longer to dry, but fondant will work fine too. Depending on the size if you are making a really large bow you could always add a little tylos powder into your fondant to help it set a little harder.
Learning a lot
Amazing! Which/what kind of glue are you using?
Can I make these 5 days in advance ?
Great Demo thank you :)
so perfect!!!
Hi Lynz how much Tylose powder do I add to the fondant. Because my gum paste never seems to go hard like yours did.
The more you ad the harder it will get.
I Don't have edible glue...what to do?
Precioso 😻
Please how do u make your gum paste
Thanks
Can u tell the glue name?
