I just got the same cbe. I love it. I really want to do the downpipe, CAI, and accessport but it's a brand new car. Hate to just ruin the warranty. Great video and keep up the good work.

It's worth getting the parts gaha and DEFINITELY keep the OEM parts lol Cobb will save the stock map as well so you can always upload the stock one back as well. Just get the Accessport you'll love that alone!!!

How are your cold starts? This sounds perfect but I’m just afraid of getting more noise complaints. I usually leave for work at about 4:00am 🤣
If you do get the Tomei it comes with a silencer that can be bolted to the tip and it sounds like a stock car. Sometimes when I have to leave early as well I'll immediately leave and let it warm up in a parking lot :)

Im in South Carolina. Considering the downpipe is not catless I think you should be fine for smog. I would definitely look into it though to be safe :)
You can check the website on the J pipe it will say if it's approved for Cali

how is the drone at highway speeds? not concerned with it being loudish but im looking to avoid the annoying drone sound
At high speeds it can get pretty loud but it’s never bothered me at all. Regular cruising is barely noticeable. Overall I really enjoy it.
@@jaggerkenyon5996 thanks! I have a catted dp with the remark muffler deletes and the drone on the highway sucks. I don’t mind exhaust sound. Was waiting for the greddy exhaust but ETA keeps getting pushed back. Gonna ball out and get the tomei
@@extraeft3428 My buddy has the same setup as you and his definitely is way more of a drone. I think the tomei from the muffler delete would be a considerable difference

yes actually but it sounds more near the “muffler” is that the same for you?
@@flegmuh it was but my mechanic took a look at it. He said it needed adjusted a bit and I've not had an issue since

I am not too sure, I live in SC where it is not an issue. I was watching Throtl build their Sti and they did not put a downpipe nor intake due to emission testing since it’s a giveaway car.
