Awesome video! I just got into Ironjawz in preparation for BIG PIG, so this is exciting to watch. Currently have a maw krusha, 3 gruntas, a start collecting, and 5 brutes, probably going to pick up another start collecting and hope that a future discount box has another 2 units of Gore Gruntas. Ideal world would be a Dawnbreakers box with the Maw Grunta and 2 units of Gore Gruntas, but I am not holding my breath. Edit: Now I have 12 boars! The dream is coming true haha. Going to be making Polish winged hussar wings for all of them to have a flying pig theme to my army. Gonna call them Da Winged Hussorruks!
Thanks so much for doing this IJ video, I’ve been playing them casually for about a year now but attended my first local tournament. Massive learning curve which was good as it was a tournament aimed at beginners to the tournament scene, but I’m going to stick with IJ for the whole of this GHB to try and master the basic game mechanics as well as the movement the army is good for with pigs. I have joined your discord as well to further support you 👍 keep up the hard work mate it’s appreciated !
I think that a double maw + 6 pigs two drops list is good, it leans heavily into damage and it is one of the best melee alphas in the game, for a team tournament is juicy
I miss the days of Arcane Tome on Megaboss, with Bash 'Em Ladz. Good breakdown! I do agree the Bloodtoofs are far and away the best subfaction, but I'd add that Ironsunz have potential, especially if one's collection is light on pigs. With them, I like a list similar to the Choppas list you had - a Mega Bossy foot boss, while still having a Maw Krusha. It doesn't have quite the *oomph* of the Mighty Waaagh Leader or the magic capabilities of a Shaman general, but five Mighty Destroyers can do a LOT of work, especially in lists that are a bit lighter on pigs and need to get ardboys or brutes up the table. It does mean you're even more CP hungry, but it has potential to have impact across the game instead of guaranteeing a single turn. I also think that specifically in Bloodtoofs, Led Into the Maelstrom is S tier. If you use it on your Waaagh turn the biggest issue is if you kill everything, and with Bloodtoofs you can just charge your pigs into something else.
Why Ironsunz. I am sitting here reading their rules, and I don't see why they would be better than Da Choppas. Is this for enemy failed charges? If so, I don't see a huge benefit from that. I must be missing something.
biggest thing with IJ is picking proper targets to try and get a good smash n bash run going. I have had it where i wipe nearly their whole army turn 1 because i picked the things i knew would likely fall. Now dice are always a factor and with IJ its win fast lose fast sometimes. I am intrested to see where IJ will be after the new Big pig leader comes out.
The problem here is that they are going to release new models for this army in a few months, the monster hog is just 1 of them, So I think is better for all IJ players to wait and see.
NGL I was kinda hoping to see more varied lists, but two of them are "spam pigs" and one is "surprise, spamming brutes instead". Hopefully with the new reveals lists will be less skewed.
I’ve got a slightly slower list running 2 boss on crusha and one of them has mega bossy so I move 6 units for 2CP. this is less dependant on getting 1st turn and then I wagh on turn 2.
Seriously considering getting into AoS. I already have a Weirdnob Shaman and would only need two Start Collecting boxes to have a 1000pts list. How much of the SC box would be useful if I wanted to grow my army to 2000pts?

Aaaaand I just found 6 gore gruntas for 95 dollars lol. Great deal!
Great deal!
I'm hoping the same.

Thanks! Happy it was helpful.

Yeah, there is room for two.

Absolutely.

Agree. I plan on making an update video when that comes out. I hope it kicks butt! Should I buy 3, or 5?
i dont think they are. the monster hog will just be the destruction part of a new harbinger book.
im very glad im wrong.
@@ungface same 😀
Awesome Thank you. Do you think you could have a crack at a similar video for bonesplitterz please?
oof. I was thinking about it, but I have never actually played them.
Love your videos.
Im a New Ironjawz player.
I wanna learn Ironjawz then slowly dabble into big waaagh/ kruelboyz
Welcome!

Yeah, that's always been the IJz problem. I am also hopeful we will get some variety.

Megabossy is good with two Maws for sure.

For Ironjawz? All of it. Get two.
Isn't that first list 2k pts exactly. Not 1940
Could be there was an error in the math. I am confident the lists are legal though. The website is still out of date; I made some manual adjustments.
