Cool game with 2 of the armies I have! At 19:18, S2D casts Warp Reality on the Chaos Warriors but if I'm not mistaken, those Chaos Warriors were marked as Nurgle and if I understand the wording correctly, you can only teleport Tzeentch S2D models with that spell

Always a treasure to see Jarod on here. Even though I love Orruks, I also have a soft spot for Archaon, so I found myself rooting for Jarod and the Chaos Boyz on this one!

We had so much fun filming over this weekend :) Jarod played 9 games in 4 days like a champ! Appreciate the love and if all goes well, you will see a lot more of Jarod on Battleshock Wargaming Channel. One more thing I have to say is, Bloodtoofs are soooo fun to play. Something about 18 pigs is just magical

Great rep, primal mistcast makes every unit within 3" take d3 mortals, not friendly units. So the gore grunta should have taken some, not sure if the grunta could have died or not though. Should have also lost a pig form bravery when archaon died. You rolled a 3 and 4 had died. They have bravery 6.

Hi Guys, nice Batrep. I think you forgot about smashing and bashing at Minute 31. Your pigs could attack Archaeon first and then get grilled. :D

loved it! Personally i think you should have charged the mawkrusha into archaon and the pigs into the CK. The mawkrusha would have done the job imo. But otherwise, loved it!

Great to see the orcs again! I think it may be worthwhile try to split a unit of pigs, to play more into the bloodtoofs pin. For instance turn1, charging in three pigs into the screen and staying outside of Archy could have have saved them from taking any damage in your own turn. And end of combat just charge in to pin both the knights and the big lad. Just adding this comment, because you guys always analysing the game, looking to to improve etc. I hope this not came as too negative. Even though there is a lot of comments, I believe if just shows the viewers are engaged, you guys doing amazing job ❤

Start of the round 1 STD player could have redeployed in a way that would force the Ironjaws player to attack the marauders instead of Archaon just a small nit pick but a beuatiful battle

Its funny how he gavec+3 to his mawcrusher save when that completely incorrect the rule clearly state u canot increase an unmodified save by more that one on any unit
You can stack positive modifiers to reduce rend which I a modifier. If I have a 4+ save and I am plus 3, and I take damage from a rend 2 weapon, I still have a 3 plus save. A save can never be better than plus 1 after all modifiers are applied. Hope that makes sense 😉

Round 5 was omitted because it did not impact the result of the game :) We like to keep our battle reports around 1 hour so they are more condensed for our viewers. Hope you enjoyed the video!

I'm feeling the Ironjaws here. Slaves are tanky, but those Ironjaws can hit like trucks and I love the mawcrusha models, super cool models with some fun rules. Good luck to both, and I'm sure it was another fun match with Jarod.

For the HORDE! We are happy with Ironjaws and their performance recently the new coherency helps those pigs all get in and really push that damage through

Where's the giant pig at? I feel like GW showed that thing off ages ago. I'm not even an Iron Jawz fan and I want to see that bacon on the table. Great game guys just a few questions. What do you think of hoarfrost vs. merciless blizzard at this point? The more games I see the less impactful hoarfrost feels. Also what would it take to make Gordrak playable? I've never seen that guy on the table.
The giant pig will be on the table as soon as it comes out on pre order for sure! It has variations, so I plan on buying 2-3 of them. I think Merciless Blizzard is much more impactful then Hoarfrost, I tend to just kite units that have hoarfrost up or just screen them out, but the Blizzard can put on the hurt if your opponent gets it off, as shown in this video LOL. Gordrak needs a 3+ save and he would be playable. Thats it. Because his melee profile is bonkers. He is just way to easy to kill and a generic megaboss is better in every way unfortunately.
Hoarfrost makes units and/or armies viable that suffered in the past, while not offering much to already strong compositions.

Haven’t watched yet but judging by the lists I’m saying Orcs have this. These are my two armies and that Slaves list looks pretty weak.
StD players need to reinvent themselves a bit. nurgle nights always get their alpha pin off. then die in the next turn and nothing is left to protect the double.
bring 3 or 4 cultist screens and obliterate with your damn slaanesh chosen, varanguard and ogroid glass hammer.
that knight charge tactic is the most one dimensional and useless thing in this ghb
Good call. One day I will finally find some corvus cabal and spend 300 dollars on Varanguard. We did just do a video with a bunch of knights in Kotet and it was amazing. Slaves to darkness range is so big, it takes awhile to collect everything. They can be a punishing army in the hands of a skilled player!
What are primal dice, and what is their purpose?
Primal dice are a new mechanic which came out in the newest season which allows you to add dice to casting and unbinding rolls. Its purpose is to fundamentally change the casting "power" of armies.
@@BattleshockWargaming hey thx. I'm really new to the game. What do I need a generals handbook for? Is it necessary or just extra? Me and my wife have really gotten into it. She has stormcast I have kruleboyz. Super fun. We mainly just do battles with different terrain. But lately we have started doing a campaign style game.

The generals handbook gives all the rules for matched play (tournament or competitive style) also gives season rules that fundamentally change the state of the game. I would not say its required. If you and your wife are enjoying campaign style gaming at home then that is perfect keep doing it. That being said i think the generals handbook is excellent and new rules that really help, and has fantastic missions
