So far I only have one of the 5 up. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxOXxsTZ3ptV_Pk0fFl8bNZvVqeoqBQFwe My son ran out of time, with motion detector etc. I have it over my garage door. It works great. Have seen a couple of cats, my dogs, when I am out front. And had a bee buzzing around right in front of it. It works very well. It even shows the neighbour's driveway, but only shows movement just past my own, which is very long. I highly recommend them.

please help me decide between Ring Stick up and Canary Flex, i want the best wireless cam with cloud, Right now I am preferring the Ring, which do you prefer?
Hi Lucas! So the Stick Up is $69 cheaper and they both have the same durability, 1080p HD video, good infrared night vision, Alexa and Google Assistant integrations, and two-way audio, although that's paid with Canary. The Flex has a field of view slightly wider at 6 degrees, and no local storage, whereas Ring has really cheap cloud and local storage available. But where the Flex really beats the Stick Up is for it's artificial intelligence, offering person and package detection if you buy a plan. I'd go with the Flex because of the person detection alone, but if you don't care about that, then the Stick Up Cam definitely makes more sense. Here are my full reviews of both: Canary Flex: bit.ly/2HfQNRq Ring Stick Up Cam Wired (new): bit.ly/2ozKqkM
Could you cover connectivity on this Ring Battery camera unit to a 5G WIfi system versus a 2.4 Mhz. Had difficulty and could not get the Amazon 2nd generation Blink cameras to hook up to a 5G speed fast system. Syn module was not discovered. Some time ago I had a flood light cam that would trigger, transmit and record video but would not do live camera. It appeared to be a weak wifi signal on my part. Would the 3rd generation Stick Up Cam have better wifi connectivity?
Thanks Gabe for the excellent review. I just got mine, but noticed in the upper left corner of my video, it’s slightly blurry. I noticed that on your camera video too. Is that just an artifact of the wide angle lens? I kind of notice that on my doorbell cam too. Thanks.

Yes. Stick Up Cam is weather-resistant with an IP rating of IPX5. It was designed to work at temperatures ranging from -5 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 to 48.5 degrees Celsius).
Another NEW Security Baron’s Necessary Feature should be “CONNECTIVITY” ...whether it requires internet/wifi to STAY working because this is a huge security loophole when the power goes out or somebody cuts the line, or you just simply are overdue on your internet provider payment...it will still stay recording to the SD CARD or cache...and once internet is back online...the cached files are sent to the cloud. Having the internet to connect for the first time in installing is no problem, but it’s just the necessary 24/7 staying online to be secure, poses huge security risk you see in movies where the heist involves cutting access to the power.
Or if it can be incorporated with a cellular plan simultaneously so if power and wifi goes down, the backup cellular tower all over the country will still allow it to work.
Hi Philip, Since the Stick Up Cam is outdoor, I probably won't do a video comparing the two. But I can tell you that the Indoor cam has a field of view 5 degrees wider, but only the Stick Up has noise cancellation. And while the stick Up is wireless, the Ring Indoor cam is plug-in. Of course, the Stick Up Cam can be used indoors or outdoors, unlike the Ring Indoor Cam, which might explain why it's $40 more than the Indoor cam at $100. Aside from that, the cameras are pretty similar. Here's my written reviews of each: Ring Stick Up Cam: bit.ly/2ozKqkM Ring Indoor Cam: bit.ly/2ow6ahh
Solid video and gave you a like but I really wish you would have spoken more about the physical installation. I think 30-45 seconds would have been perfect instead of 10 seconds. It looks like it would have trouble getting into a 45 degree downward wall mounted angle. Hopefully the ring video you mentioned will speak more about it. Also the subscription basic plan covers rings, motion, and live but what are the chances of the camera missing motion such as someone farther away throwing a egg at your house? If its aimed at a busy street is that not the same as 24 hour storage? Could you put a dancing toy next to it and basically trick your camera into recording 24 hour videos? Anyways overall solid video.

thanks, very clear
Another NEW Security Baron’s Necessary Feature should be “CONNECTIVITY”
...whether it requires internet/wifi to STAY working because this is a huge security loophole when the power goes out or somebody cuts the line, or you just simply are overdue on your internet provider payment...it will still stay recording to the SD CARD or cache...and once internet is back online...the cached files are sent to the cloud.
Great point! I will take that into consideration for further reviews...typically, our written reviews cover connectivity a bit more: bit.ly/2ozKqkM
When will you review the ring floodlight cam?
Great review. Bought.
Hope you enjoy it!
Thank you for the review. So many choices out there. Stuck between wyze, ring, eufy and arlo.
It is difficult to choose! Maybe my written reviews will help. Here's one for the new Ring Stick Up Cam Wired: bit.ly/2pmTbiu
Could you do a video (or article) comparing the ring stick up cam vs the new indoor cam?
Hi Philip,
Since the Stick Up Cam is outdoor, I probably won't do a video comparing the two.
Here's my written reviews of each:

Dude, that alleyway needs a police station right there. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
When are you announcing October giveaway winners
Very soon, getting that video ready now!
