CORRECTION: Cut the original squares at 6" by 6" and then cut the heatnbond at 5.5" by 5.5". Then all the rest of the measurements will be correct. SO SORRY!
I love this, I have seen these before, but never watched the videos, I thought they would be a lot harder to do, but the fabrics you used are so pretty, I just had to watch your video, and I'm glad I did. I can't believe how easy these actually are to do, your instructions are Great! I will definitely be making these, I just need to get heat and bond first. Thank You for sharing your time, and your talent with all of us.
Oh MY! I got to try this. You are hitting all the toppers that I have always wanted. I also would like to see that curve table runner. You are so great. THANK YOU!
This was so helpful, I have been wanting to make one of these halloween themed and I think today is the day since your video explained everything so well! Thank you (:
Hi JoAnn, You did catch an error! The first squares should be cut at 6" by 6" not at 5.5" and the heat n bond should be cut to 5.5" by 5.5". I can't believe I said that in the video. Oh NO! The finished square should end up measuring 5.5" if you use a 1/4" seam allowance. And then the template will work out just fine. I will pin a comment to the top letting people know this correction. Much appreciated! and Happy Sewing :)
Hello, Before I saw the correction, I finished 12 5” squares. If I make a 5” template square, will the side measurements stay the same? Help! I hate to throw them away. Thank you.
It won’t be. If you use the 2 3/4 template you may not have enough space in the middle to lay flat. I finished squares were 5 inches and mine did not have the space in the middle. Still nice. But not quite right

Thank you Sherri! Happy sewing 🧵
Do you think this would work if you sewed small snaps instead of buttons or hand sewing? I am thinking about storage between season
Great idea!
Question: will the template need to be changed to fit the new corrected measurements?
👍👍👍very beautiful
I love this!!! Thank you!
Thanks so much Tammy! PS. Love the name ☺️🌟
@@TamarasJoyDIY I’m also a Tamara and pronounce it the same way as you 😊💕
That’s rare💝! I have always loved my name as it was never one I often heard. We got lucky!
Is there a template download or I just make a 6 inch square template? Thank you!
Hi Samantha, just follow the directions to make your own template. Hope that clears things up and happy sewing!
@@TamarasJoyDIY it did help! I was pretty sure about the answer and have already made a template! Thank you so much for your videos and help
shouldnt the template for folding the edges be made from a 5 inch square, since the sewn squares are now 5 inches not 5.5 inches

Hand stitching is definitely not my favorite, glue gun either! 🤢
