- This fabric centerpiece mat/plate mat or table topper or even Christmas Wreath I am sharing with you from many of my subscribers requested last month. I have many requests and will share with you if you if I know how to or if I could. This holidays centerpiece mat can be used different fabric depends on the holiday you want to display,,, Also this flower mat is a good holidays/new homeowners gift idea. I made this for my family and we using them on the daily basic during the Holidays season, We place the LED candle in the center. This plate mat/centerpiece mat/ Christmas wreath is easy to clean, you can put in the washing machine or hand wash and it's all set for the next use

That is beautiful. I love it. I watch Llama Mama Kayla and she has some hand issues and she crochets. She cant do a lot of hand sewing but she does a lot of amagrumi. If it says SEW she HOT GLUES. LOL Looks like the same hand gun. I think I will send her some gorilla stick glue. You too.
Kathlyn,, if that the case then tell her to use felt fabric and glue 2 colors together just like the video or she can use 2 colors like, red , green, red green... next to each other then fold exactly the same

Pretty - I had made these before - they turn out so pretty - I used fabric glue - on the flaps - have bad hands - I don’t sew much by hand lol

Best way to start sewing straight line is stop drinking LOL... You draw a line first then follow the line and sew.. go slow and you'll be able to get the perfect straight line

Hi Vivian. Wow, this is a real showstopper; it's so beautiful and eye catching. I love how you raised the green fabric to look like leaves springing off the poinsettias. You are so good at creating that 3D effect. If the pearls were red, they would look like little holly berries. I can picture this on the middle of a holiday table with a candle glowing in the
center. I know what you mean about your glue gun; I have my favorite for many years also, it comes with a hard case and you can't even find them anymore, that's how old it is. I used to craft with it with my mom when I was in my twenties (long time ago) and I always think of her when I use it. You really did a great job, as always. Please let me know what the doctor says tomorrow.

Yes, sis, we have to do something to make it look more realistic .. you're right about the good memories of our moms when come to crafting , sewing and cooking,, I can see her with me still even though she is no longer with us in person,, I still wait for the DR to respond, this is very disturbing my daily life seriously

This is beautiful. I would like to also make smaller ones. How do I figure out the correct angles to sew on? So glad I found your channel.
Carol,, when you decided what size you want,, after cut the pieces out, sew 2 colors together as shown in the video,,
1--- fold the piece in half (triangle) then fold the pointy on the left and the right to the center iron it down.. everything else just follow the video

And you make me laugh when I read your comment,,, Seriously it's really quick to sew this.. I don't think the med from the Dr helping me, after the med swear off I feel the pain. Just earlier when I walked in Target I got a same pain and 5 minutes after that i went to my dad and got pain again,, Tomorrow will be a whole week taking the med, I will ask my DR to see what's the next step will be

Hi Vivian, when sewing this are you using the white thread to bring out the colors more, or do you use the same matching color thread as the fabric
Sometimes I match the thread with the fabric but this one I used white thread. Thank you for your support

Sewing the square what would be the the,plate for 5 inch squares instead of 7 squares.
can we make for a smaller table - and the measurements would be ? Would it be 5 inch squares - and would still be 12 of them or less squares for a small table topper for a candle .

Yes you still need 12 pieces and the square depends on how small you want it to be. I think 5” square would be perfect for table of 4 to 6 people

It’s 12” by 12” for large size. If you want smaller sizes you can cut the square fabric down to 10” or 8” square
