Absolutely Beautiful! Your instructions are Great. I like it both ways (before, and after you sewed the last petals). Thank you for sharing your time, and your talent with all of us.
Thank you Gisela! I have been eyeing these for a while as well. But I never liked how small they were so I adjusted the measurements to make it a table topper instead of a placemat. I am so happy with how it turned out. Highly recommend sewing them!! ☺️🤩
Hi Barbara, 7 circles for the front and then 7 more for the back. I suggest 1/2 yard for both. Only because I think I got 6 circles out of a 1/4 yard but that 7th circle pushed me into needing the 1/2.
Beautiful I've been looking for a pattern like this! I think of Quensetties with this pattern, looking for examples for fabric choices! Hope you can help! Pam
Hi Tamara, this did not work for me either. I cannot figure out a protractor. Can you not tell me how many inches it is at the top? Would make it much easier. I ended up with a hat. Lol. Thank you
boy! I watched and still screw it up. PLEASE HELP!! when I completed my circle it was very tight. Yes, I had 7 circles but maybe I went wrong with protracter. Or was it the circle. (Help as I cry please) LOL I really want to make this. I need them for a show. Thanks
Hi Lutisha, my first one didn’t go smoothly either. But once you figure out exactly what went wrong your next one will be easier. Did you leave yourself the 1/2” space I suggested for the middle portion? Or when you sewed the circles together did you sew directly on the line created? It’s hard to help without seeing it. But if it is too tight a circle then I suggest making your template slightly wider? I can photocopy my template tomorrow and I will link it below this video. I will keep thinking on it. And will leave you a comment once I link my template.
Hi Lutisha, Here is the scanned template. tamarasjoy.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Template-for-flower-table-runner.pdf (remember to print it at full scale. And perhaps sew along the outside of the line if you are finding things to be too small.
@@TamarasJoyDIY You are so good to provide me the template. I am starting over and will relook 1/2 in and use this. I will keep you posted. You are the best
I got the template to print. All is good now. I shall try and put it back together now. Thank you
Beautiful and very clear, thank you x x
You are so welcome!

Beautiful! I guess if I wanted a bigger size, I would make the circle
larger and use less circles to fit all around?
Great idea! I havn't tried that, but it sounds like it could work.
If i wanted to make it smaller, maybe a 6 inch circle, do all other measurements stay the same? Same 25 degree angle and 7 circles?
I love the tutorial. Could you tell me how much fabric you need for front and back?

Do you suggest starching the fabric?
No. It isn’t necessary. Happy sewing Carol!
How many yards for 4 and 6 placemats

I did it! Thank you so much. I think my issue was the angle in which I was sewing. Thank you so much. Your template really gave me confidence. Thanks
