This is about my two sapphic original characters, Victoria and Camille.
Victoria is the Vampire and is the one who starts off the song with white lyrics
Camille is the innocent (looking) Vampire-Hunter and is the one who starts singing around the 1:40 mark.
Song Story:
Camille is walking home late at night after her evening shift and Victoria thinks she is an easy meal. Victoria decides to play around with Camille before hunting her down. So it turns out, not as easy of a meal as Victoria thought cue the Seinfeld Theme
Reverse hunting ensues where Camille is now the one hunting Victoria but they fall in love
( you can just tell my favourite tag on AO3 is Enemies to Lovers )
Anyways, I put gay vampires cause it was a nicer title than “Original song about Vampire and Vampire-Hunter that happen to be enemies to lovers OH YEAH and it’s also GAY”

I adore this and have probably listened to it a few too many times recently...
I suppose the one critique that I'd offer is that Camille and Victoria's voices are too similar. There's a shift between the first and second verses (Victoria being deeper, Camille being lighter), but you lose that a little when they're alternating lines - especially given the mirroring of what they're saying. I'd love to see a new version of this, maybe as a duet with someone else? That would be incredible.

Yeah, or at the least, if the text was more obviously different (you can just barely tell Victoria's lines have a purple border while Camille's have a brown one, but it is *very* subtle).

Okay, I'll make my "contribution" to this story. For me, at 2:40, Camille falls in love. After that, she (literally) turns her back on Victoria and repeats the "chase lyrics". Victoria is lost "a headstart ?", then she understands "you fear's intoxicating" (Camille is afraid of her feelings), "but you smell so good so it's you to blame" (Victoria playwith Camille's emotion, she hides her own emotions). AND the last “do you ?” is when Camille turns around after Victoria's fled.
(Sorry, I probably did a lot of mistake, but english isn't my native language ^^')

"Oh Little Rabbit~ Where are you?~ Don't you know it can be oh so dangerous at night? A pretty little thing like you should have stayed home." Victoria called out for her prey, teasing and sultry. Camille took off running, knowing all too well she was physically no match for the vampire after her. She stayed quiet, her footsteps the only thing giving away her location and perhaps her heavy breathing from running so much. Victoria was still looking, a coy smile playing on her lips as she called out once again, "I'll give you a headstart Little Rabbit. A little action to whip up my appetite." Her fangs gleamed dangerously as she bared her teeth. "One, two, three, dance with me" She sang out. "four, five, six, your fear is intoxicating~" Camille was terrified but then again, only fools weren't. She threw holy water at the vampire, weakening her greatly. Victoria hissed in pain as her skin bubbled in reaction to the pure substance. It wasn't over yet for either of them but it was clear that Camille now had the advantage. Ignoring the pull in her chest when she hurt Victoria, she pulled out her stake and prepared to eliminate the world of another dirty human killer. Victoria took off seeing the stake, not willing to die just yet. H̶e̶r̶ The Little Rabbit would not be the one to kill her. The hunt was on, the hunter now the prey.
THAT WAS LEGIT SO GOODDDDDDD, HOLY MOLY, PLEASE TELL ME YOU HAVE A WRITING ACCOUNT OR SMTH
I know it might seem silly but when I hear that song I imagine the Vampire stalking the lady while she runs through the city´s narrow alleys, apparently in random due to despair, but in the back of her mind she´s is guiding the vampire to the local church;
She enters the place, the Vampire right behind her, taking time to play with her meal;
The Vampire Lady is delighted at the Woman´s mediocre choice of place, saying it´s cute that she thinks sacred walls can protect her from her doom;
Little does she knows, that church is where the Woman stores her weaponry, and on the altar rests a big bowl filled with holy water;
The Woman distracts the Vampire, cleverly using the shadows of the place the knows by heart to confuse the bloodthirst creature about her position and manages to gather her weapons; (oh they´re singing all the way long, so you know)
When she´s all ready, the Woman jumps out of the shadows in a grand entrance, standing in the altar, right in front of the holy water bowl;
She then picks it up and showers its content over herself, soaking her clothes and her weapons, as blessing and protection;
That´s when the Vampire Lady starts to get annoyed, as she feels the game has changed to her disadvantage - but was way more exciting and that feeling is what made her stood her ground and face the odd Vampire Hunter; She was partly impressed and partly curious to see what she was able to do, and interest she never had in any human arousing in her gut;
So they spar, weighting each other's capabilities, getting more and more impressed with every dodge, leap and counter the other performed that at some point they almost forget they were fighting for; All they could think was about their moves, their wild smiles, and how oddly harmonious their dance was under the moonlight dripping from the window.;
In the end, in speechless agreement, both noticed they wouldn´t be able to kill each other. So to avoid such fate but still keep their pride, each made their part: as a final move, the Vampire Lady leaped far away from Hunter´s reach, and the same froze in her position, showing no intentions of proceeding her hunt.
With a last gaze, they finish their dance, both knowing that this wasn´t the last, as the midnight ball has just begun;
