You know what I'd love to see at least once? Enemies to Lovers where the hero is the one constantly flirting with the villain and the villain is the one trying to convince themselves that they are not, in fact, falling in love with the hero and their perfect ass
Still screeching about this. I see this as Victoria dancing as Camille tries to attack her but she keeps getting distracted. I absolutely love the instrumentals behind it. Also 1000% making this my new ringtone!!!
POV: The women are both tense as they hear the rising music signaling their entrance. This wasn't supposed to happen, they were supposed to be outside trying to kill each other...but Princess Victoria (purple hair) and Head Hunter Camille (brown hair) were dragged away by their respective assistants before they had the chance. Both were told that there was a ball being held that night as a celebration for an announcement that was to be made. Both women were forced to sit through a grueling 3 hours of being pampered. I shouldn't say Victoria was forced being she was always the girly girl, showing up to battles in long flowing dresses with slits up the sides for agility. Needless to say, Victoria was in her element. I cannot say the same for Camille, she was used to always looking grimy with her hair pulled back and dirt under her nails from all the time spent outdoors...she did not enjoy her pampering one bit. She let her assistant do all the choosing for her but Camille put her foot down before she was forced into a dress. As a women who liked shirts and pants over anything else, a suit would be the most dressed up you'd ever see her. Three hours had gone by and both women were remarkably late to the ball. Now as they were standing behind doors opposite each other, the rising music caused rising tension in each of them. They did not know what to expect, both were bracing themselves for whatever they were about to walk into but nothing could've prepared them for what they saw...each other. Both were taken so aback by how the other looked all dressed up that they stood in silent shock until a throat was cleared and they descended down the stairs leading to a platform. As they met in the middle, Camille extended her arm for Victoria and waited. When Victoria grabbed Camille's arm, they were both shocked and a bit pleased (although neither would admit it) by the pleasant shivers they felt. Leaning down slightly Camille whispered into Victoria's ear, "You look absolutely ravishing Princess." Victoria almost started blushing, which is a hard feat considering she is a vampire, but she couldn't help it. Camille whispering added an even harsher rasp to her already husky voice, not to mention the way she said princess was different then the other times. Victoria felt as though Camille wasn't mocking her, instead giving her a genuine compliment. Both women suddenly seemed to remember that they were standing, elevated, in front of hundreds of people. Straightening out (lol) and clearing their throats, they descended down the stairs together. As the music kept building up, they finally made it to the middle of the room, noticing that a large space had formed as waiting eyes watched. Confused, Victoria looked for her father, picking him out easily as he was the king. Imploring with her eyes she asked what was going on, "Just dance" her father mouthed and as she registered what he said, the music reached its peak. Turning to face Camille, Victoria grabbed her hand and waist and dragged Camille into a waltz that matched the music. Camille was dancing, but she was shocked. "Don't get any funny ideas Cami...just because we're dancing doesn't mean there is a truce or I am surrendering." hissed Victoria. At that it dawned on Camille that this was a perfect time to try and kill Victoria, they had never been this close together before. Fortunately or unfortunately, you decide, Victoria had the same thought. And so the battle commenced. Now I will be the first to admit that this isn't your normal battle, but it would have to do. Victoria and Camille never went anywhere without some type of protection, but bot realized it would be much to obvious if that grabbed it themselves. As they were completing a spin, Victoria saw a flash of green inside Camille's suit. Acting what most would call seductively, Victoria reached out and splayed her hand on Camille's stomach. Slowly she started inching her hand up Camille's torso causing the latter party to become greatly flustered. Before Camille registered what had happened, Victoria had Camille's dagger in her hand. Cursing herself for getting distracted Camille started to search for a weapon for herself. As she dipped Victoria backwards, she noticed the outline of a sheath on Victoria's inner thigh. Pulling Victoria back up Camille slowly dipped her hand lower and lower until she reached the slit in Victoria's dress. Still going slowly leaving feather light touches, she inched her way to Victoria's sheath. It was Victoria's turn to be flustered now, as Camille's hand got closer and closer to her inner thigh, her own breathing got heavier and heavier. Grabbing Victoria's dagger, Camille pulled it out and quickly hid it in the sleeve of her suit. Leaning back and smirking at a breathless Victoria, Camille smirked and quietly said, "Let the games begin." And so they began, to the hundreds of people watching them, it seemed as if they were dancing beautifully together and that the tension was purely romantic. But both women knew that the tension they felt wasn't romantic, it was only anger and resentment...nothing else. As they "danced" together, jabs and stabs were attempted, but by some cruel twist of fate, neither could land a hit. The music came to a close and both women took a bow. Breathless and frustrated they slowly gravitated towards an exit, separately of course, it was only coincidence that they ended up at the same one. Looking at each other they both bolted for the door and the chase began. Victoria was much faster, but her dress was heavier than usual so Camille had an advantage. Taking every twist and turn at random, Victoria struggled to loose Camille. Finally she seemed to have lost her, so Victoria entered one of the guest bedrooms hoping to catch her breath. Little did she know, Camille was merely hiding around a corner, so she knew exactly where Victoria was. Victoria gasped as Camille slammed the door open and shut. Glowering at Victoria, Camille stalked towards her slowly and before she knew it, Victoria was trapped between Camille and the bed behind her...Camille lunged and the fight was on. I don't think I need to explain exactly what happened, but they eventually ended up sleeping in the same bed, cuddling each other. Unfortunately, neither woman had heard the announcement that was made. Echoing through the halls were cheers and yells of excitement from many people as the King had just announced Victoria's engagement to the neighboring Kingdom's Prince...this marriage would form an alliance between the kingdoms and ensured prosperity for both parties. How will this play out? Who knows...I don't! I haven't thought that far ahead lol Y'all can use your own imagination from there. P.S. my hand is cramping cause i typed that all on my phone :/

Well yes, that is rather the point of love to begin with. Obviously the trope in media isn't something you should replicate, if you watch any of the shows where the good protagonist knowingly falls for a serial killer and look at it for relationship goals. You have some other issues you need to deal with long before your ready for a relationship. But we still find ourselves being able to relate to the most extreme archetypes because we know that love isn't always rational or even good for us. Then there are people who because of what they have gone through view themselves as unlovable monsters, NOT because of how they treat people but because of how they have been treated. So when someone suddenly not only joins you in that very dark cave, but bring with them some light, you wind up looking at yourself as a villan. Simply because you do not believe yourself worthy of it, and that you are being selfish for bringing them into the dark until you realize even if it didn't last forever they were able to for a shiny moment to bring you into the light. As a wise woman once said: Virtue is only virtue in extremis.

Breathless and frustrated they slowly gravitated towards an exit, separately of course, it was only coincidence that they ended up at the same one. Looking at each other they both bolted for the door and the chase began. Victoria was much faster, but her dress was heavier than usual so Camille had an advantage. Taking every twist and turn at random, Victoria struggled to loose Camille. Finally she seemed to have lost her, so Victoria entered one of the guest bedrooms hoping to catch her breath. Little did she know, Camille was merely hiding around a corner, so she knew exactly where Victoria was.
Victoria gasped as Camille slammed the door open and shut. Glowering at Victoria, Camille stalked towards her slowly and before she knew it, Victoria was trapped between Camille and the bed behind her...Camille lunged and the fight was on. I don't think I need to explain exactly what happened, but they eventually ended up sleeping in the same bed, cuddling each other.
Unfortunately, neither woman had heard the announcement that was made. Echoing through the halls were cheers and yells of excitement from many people as the King had just announced Victoria's engagement to the neighboring Kingdom's Prince...this marriage would form an alliance between the kingdoms and ensured prosperity for both parties.
How will this play out? Who knows...I don't! I haven't thought that far ahead lol

She had no reason to refuse , after all it was a good chance to examine her body and movements closer. “Sure , but you best be good at this” . As the vampire takes her hand , a shiver goes down her spine . Must be another vampire trick she thinks. And when they finally arrive to the dance floor after what felt like a decade of them holding hands , the vampire finally spoke “Its Victoria” . Camilla scoffs . As Victoria and Camilla dance , both fighting to take the lead .

The people who like "enemies to lovers" trope usually love the idea that their other half would see their messed up side but still love them anyways.
Well yes, that is rather the point of love to begin with. Obviously the trope in media isn't something you should replicate, if you watch any of the shows where the good protagonist knowingly falls for a serial killer and look at it for relationship goals. You have some other issues you need to deal with long before your ready for a relationship.
But we still find ourselves being able to relate to the most extreme archetypes because we know that love isn't always rational or even good for us. Then there are people who because of what they have gone through view themselves as unlovable monsters, NOT because of how they treat people but because of how they have been treated. So when someone suddenly not only joins you in that very dark cave, but bring with them some light, you wind up looking at yourself as a villan. Simply because you do not believe yourself worthy of it, and that you are being selfish for bringing them into the dark until you realize even if it didn't last forever they were able to for a shiny moment to bring you into the light. As a wise woman once said: Virtue is only virtue in extremis.

I think this song also kind of reveals Victoria’s (purple hair) desire for Camille ( brown hair ). The question “What do you see when you look at me? Am I the love of your life or your enemy?” isn’t simply a taunt or an effort to confuse Camille. Victoria wants to know the answer. She wants to know if she is only the villain to Camille, or something more. Anyway, I’d love to see a song from Camilla’s perspective, though perhaps Victoria’s is more interesting, her being the ‘villain’ and such.
