Just take krill oil instead of fish oil, it has astaxanthine a very powerful antioxidant that prevents the oil from going rancid. It also have way less heavy metals since krill is lower in the food chain than fish.

For a 24-36 hour fast I wouldn't take any supplements at all. I look at it as a time to scrape the bottom of the barrel, so to speak. Even if I'm not fasting I skip Tuesdays supps all the time. I practice time-restricted feeding; this daily "fast" is as much fasting as I do, anymore, though. I don't do every supp every day, and I cut the recommended dosage in half, at least. I suppose it's kind of a homeopathic approach to supplementation! 😄

I take Magnesium Threonate and it says to take it 2hrs before bed. It does really help me to fall asleep and feel well rested in the morning!!
