Couldnt he take care of himself if he was God. Jesus (Isa AS) never told anyone to worship him nor did he ever declare himself as God. I used to box when I was 14 - 15 years old in a gym in Sweden. I never got any attention because I was not good. But now, 34 years later, you have taught me footwork, head movement, and punching without even being in the same room with me. I would probably knock my younger self out. Thank you, Tony! Your videos are absolutely awesome, the way you can explain the advanced concepts of boxing to beginners like me, while keeping it entertaining, and actually showing what you're talking about makes it so easy to digest.
    You have the best tutorials on RUclips, not just boxing either. Your editing is great and unintrusive, the pacing is perfect, and your commentary is perfect.

Makes the viewer feel that their knowledge is progressing as well as their skills in the gym. #4 is the biggy for me at the moment especially when I’m getting tired, happy to say I’ve already gotten in plenty of work already on the other three thanks to your previous material. I have caught myself crossing my feet from time to time. Always good to be reminded by a total pro of mistakes.

  • @dj8329
    @dj8329 10 месяцев назад +13

    Coming from a kickboxing background, I've been transitioning into boxing the past couple years. But this showed me I've brought some habits from kickboxing over into boxing that I need to correct. For example, crossing feet is common in kickboxing (to set up spinning attacks like a backfist, you cross your lead leg in front of your rear leg). I got into the habit of feinting spinning attacks by taking that crossing step, but instead using it to cut an angle into a cross. I also stand very tall, with one foot directly in front of the other, because I got used to that in kickboxing. I'd use the lead sidekick as a jab. Also standing tall with more weight on the rear leg helps to check kicks. Thanks for these pointers man!

    • @dj8329
      @dj8329 10 месяцев назад +2

      @@user-nx8zm3yd8d Actually, yeah, thats more what I meant. The backfist was just an example of a spinning attack. I focus more on the footwork itself. But I didn't fully explain. The combo would be this -
      (from orthodox) Step in/Jab/Feint spin by stepping lead foot to the right (from this distance they'll assume a backfist or elbow and keep their guard high)/Jab into peel (their left glove)/Pivot right/Cross.
      The purpose is to cut that really good angle. You'll be directly to the side of your opponent, his guard down from the peel, perfectly open for the cross. One thing to note, when I say feint, I don't mean take the step and retract it back. Actually commit to the step and plant your foot. I use the term feint loosely.
