    maybe I can add one tip : instead of putting the rice bottom first in the pot, put the veg mix with sauce first, and then put in the rice at the top. For serving, place a plate on the pot instead of the lid, and inverse the contents of the pot onto the plate - the nice veg mix with sauce will spread onto the rice. A classic chinese presentation.

    Adding coconut milk instead of corn starch will make it 100% healthy and you will loved it

      Not yet but if you would have tried green thai curry then you know how delicious it taste when you add coconut milk

      Ohh i understand , I would recommend thick coconut because it will thicken your gravy + taste

    I used to cook it long time back inspired from a well known Chinese restaurant in Kolkata. I had forgotten about this recipe, thank you for bringing it back to me.

    I tried this...came out quite well like all ur other recipes😊
    I also added shredded boiled chicken, used the chicken stock to boil the veggies, a splash of green chilli sauce, a few drops of worcestershire sauce and a sprinkle of black pepper powder. My family loved it!!

      Chicken has too much diseases don't eat ..... We have tested in lab .....we humans are fools , saying it healthy.......I have quitted you u also do that

      problem is Indians make the English sentence as they learn indian language. NICELY EXPLAINED > NICELY IS ADVERB TO EXPLAIN VERB BUT YOU HAVE PUT IT BEFORE ." FRAMING SENTENCE IS VERY IMPORTANT> IT SHOULD BE "EXPLAINED NICELY "

    I used to have the same at siliguri hong kong resturant. Instead of so much veg it came with prawns and veg. i thing you have missed the viniger.I still remember a viniger taste to it. Nice wholesome dineer after a days outdoor work.

    I feel if you glaze the onions and the capsicum a bit in oil and then mix it with the other vegetables in the end, it would taste batter.

      @@mayurii_ yes... Only variation is made is that cook vegetables little less water and more coconut milk. Also I used little bit of lemon grass just for flavour

    Ji suggest to avoid corn flour as it is not healthy instead add coconut milk

      Issue with Cornflour and Atta and it's derivatives like Rava Maidha gets contains large quantities of Gluten...which are the main cause for Diabetes🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

      Coconut milk can be made naturally by grating Coconut adding water and grinding in a movie or Coconut milk is available in Tetra Pack by
      Homtemade brand,Maggi coconut milk powder
      But making it naturally from fresh coconut is the best

    When the stew loses heat, corn starch becomes watery and loses its thickness. Is there any method to avoid this?

    I too make something like this but without rice, I add soy sauce, chilli sauce, ketchup, chicken cubes, vinegar, black pepper and red chilli powder with chopped garlic, onions, green onions and capsicums cut into cubes.
