But I think it's a bad idea. Should recast him with the multiverse. Iron Fist was the biggest weak point in the Netflix stuff and he's a heavy attachment to that.
What bothered me most was his inability to fight somewhat decently. I would like them to use other actors and do a face replacement or something like that. I normally do not even really register such things, but with that show the fighting was almost like watching a comedy show.

The only thing Shang chi would have done is explain the bands but they do that is Ms. marvel and the Marvels and I’m sure a few more I’m missing so again Shang Chi did nothing for phase 4 but give it, it’s browny points. Pun intended.

I loved Finn Jones as Iron Fist. His show wasn't the best, but he was great in Defenders and his one episode in season 2 of Luke Cage. I really want Heroes for Hire, and I'm glad that's what Finn wants, too!

If he's kept training since they stopped filming, and comited to the martial art work in his time off so he can look more fluid, natural and capable- I'd love to see him return, the biggest complaint was because he couldn't fight and limited his stunt work. Demonstrating his commitment to the character by continuing his training in his time off would redeem him with the fans too.

I think they chose the smart route, re-introducing the Iron Fist mythology through the Shang Chi movies.
@emergencyawesome Definitely. More build up to the character, rather than throwing it straight out all at once, so much potential to be a brilliant character in the MCU
I actually liked Iron Fist season 2.

They need a decent actor and a decent fight choreography team. Then they need an editor that doesn't butcher the fight scenes trying to make Finn Jones look good. Some of the worst fight scenes in all of Marvel

The hidden city at the end of Shang Chi should be reconned as one of the Capital Cities of Heaven and make Shang Chi’s mother one of the Immortal Weapons. Tiger’s Beautiful Daughter, maybe.

I still would love to see Collen Wing in the Iron Fist power capacity because using the power through the sword was crazy. If they are going to change up things and just do a "Heroes for Hire" with Danny solely having the power that's good too. I would love if they introduced the other mystical cities (the Seven Capital Cities of Heaven) are like K'un-Lun that also have protectors.

The biggest issue I had with the Iron Fist TV show was the fight choreography. After the fight scenes in DD and Punisher, the fight scenes in IF just seemed sub par. That was my biggest complaint. The other complaint I had was that their uniforms were never introduced. If they fix these two issues, I'm sure IF could be awesome.
I love the first Shang-Chi and if they really do bring in Danny Rand Iron fist for the sequel that would be really good, but the rumor of them implementing time travel would be rather odd, because we don't even have the villain for Avengers 5
since it won't be kang anymore

I would like to see Colleen Wing and Misty Knight in their own Daughters of the Dragon and Danny Rand and Luke Cage in their Heroes for Hire. Both of those shows would be instant hits but the writing has to be on point and the OG cast has to come back, that means Finn Jones, Mike Colster, Jessica Henwick, and Simone Missick.
But I'd like the original Iron Fist angle in the 2nd Shang Chi movie.
No way!! I’ve been screaming for this since before the first movie! This is the absolute best way to move forward with both characters. Maybe King of The Iron Fist tournament or something similar. I’d be all for it. Nice job Charlie!

Keep Finn Jones. Introduce him as an antagonist if need be. There's a lot they could do with the "killing a dragon" and the Orson Randall plotline. Heroes for Hire would be great. The best Danny Rand was from Luke Cage S2E8. HE was young and fun and not brooding like a Matt Murdock knockoff

That's exactly what I've been saying! Every one complains about the actor. But it was the Iron Fist writers that messed it up. Luke Cage season 2 and Finn Jones nailed Danny Rand!
I wish Shang Chi 2 paid off the second post-credits scene with Xialing & the Ten Rings, where she hosts a fighting tournament & gets Shang Chi to participate, like the scene from the first movie but on a much larger scale. It could introduce/reintroduce mutant characters or Defender characters. Imagine Electra vs Nightcrawler or Iron Fist vs the Thing

I have an idea for Shang-Chi 2 entitled: Shang-Chi & The Immortal Iron Fist. Adapting a recent Marvel comics or at least elements of it the plot would see Shang-Chi too scared to use the ten rings at it's full power out of fear that he'd become like his father Wenwu, when a villain is accidentally unleashed upon the world while Shang-Chi and the Avengers are tamparing with them: THE GORGON.
Gorgon basically has the power to paralyze you mentally with your worst fears, being beaten by Gorgon Shang-Chi is forced to hunt down the one person Wenwu used to defeat Gorgon before The Iron Fist or at least the current Iron Fist.
I just want misty and Colleen back.

we are always up for more dragons in the MCU. Now Iron Fist, there's a question. I loved the comic version but wasn't too fond of the Finn Jones version. A Colleen Wing Iron Fist would be awesome and the revised version of Finn's Danny Rand was an improvement on the original version. Having Iron Fist and Shang Chi meet up is a great way to reintroduce Iron Fist and I'm looking forward to seeing Shang Chi and company back on our screens.
honestly I dont think it was finns fault. I think the problem was a lot of the story and how he barely ever used his powers
@@glopple Zero martial arts experience and minimal athletic ability made him a bad choice. If he had done the training maybe , but he was uninterested to learn the role before and during the show. What's curious to me is who's paying for all the bots that are saying how great he was 🤔

I hope they bring both Danny and Colleen in Shang-Chi 2, him being a villain could be so interesting and I can only imagine Katy questioning why white boy knows kung fu.
If he’s been training in Kung Fu ever since Iron Fist first came out, Finn Jones would be welcomed to portray Danny Rand again. I strongly agree that he was definitely at his best when working with Luke Cage in Defenders (a let down of a series, but it had it’s moments….all of the actors, from Weaver to Ritter, did the best anyone could have with what they were given in that script) and a series with all of those characters, Colleen Wing and Misty Knight (Simone Missick was fantastic) included, could be great if they give it the time and attention it needs.

It’d be so sick if they introduced MCU Sabretooth in this movie since they are bringing back iron fist. Fun fact, Sabretooth was introduced in the Iron Fist comics.
My third favorite superhero of all time! My man Shang Chi!!!! I can't wait to see the sequel with him and Iron Fist! I hope the Martial Club and the same people who did the fight choreography in the first Shang Chi movie return! It was spectacular! I also hope by the end of the movie, both Shang Chi and Iron Fist form the Heroes for Hire, and a post credit scene shows Danny calling Luke Cage, wanting him to be part of it. If this happens, I will have a huge smile on my face 😌
I really dont know what work Finn Jones has been in that is actually worth watching or not but if anyone has any suggestions, I'm certainly open too them. But I really couldn't get into the character in the Netflix adaptation.

I'd be all in for Heroes for Hire. I would even go to see a rebooted Danny Rand version of Iron Fist. Because his character and acting wasn't too bad towards the end of the second season. But the only way I would be able to take Colleen Wing is if you bring back what's her name's character from Luke Cage and we get some version of NightWing! 🤷🏾♀️

Heroes for Hire in the style of an old 80s anthology style series would be really cool, each episode would be a different adventure for Iron Fist and Luke cage.
Of course Finn Jones would be excited about the idea. The potential payday getting into an MCU movie is significant, and can lead to numerous, nearly guaranteed roles, for the next decade. Look how many MCU films or shows Don Cheadle (11), Sebastian Stan (10), Tessa Thompson (5), and even Kat Dennings (5) have been paid to be in, with most of those being minor appearances. Don Cheadle has been in as many MCU projects as Chris Evans.
I'd love to see Iron Fist brought back and done justice. But let's not involve an actor who played a big part in the first terrible run at it, just because. With all of the multiverse shenanigans going on in the MCU, and about to get kicked up to an even higher notch, there's no reason to reuse an actor who brought a role down. Give Iron Fist a chance to shine.

I don't have to tell you that I will be smiling the rest of the year. I always hoped Finn Jones would come back as Danny Rand. The show wasn't badly received because of Finn Jones. He's a great actor, but needs to take a martial arts class. The complaint was about the show, signaling a need for better writers. Hopefully we have good writers and a martial arts class set up. ❤❤❤
Just so long as they don't short shrift Finn. He's taken so much crap for what Netflix did to him it makes me sick. There was nothing wrong with Danny Rand or his version of The Iron Fist. Season two "Luke Cage" proved he was a good fit for Danny.

I would rather see Danny Rand back first, and (if his new version is unsupported by fans) then in his next showing in a fight verses the main villain he and Colleen do a transfer of the Iron Fist between each other multiple times and he gets mortally wounded or incapable of retrieving the Iron Fist.

Shang Chi 2 should be Marvel's version of "Mortal Kombat". At the end of Shang-Chi we saw a signal was being sent out into space/time, maybe there is some multi-dimensional Martial Arts tournament about to take place and Shang Chi has no choice but to enter and this is where we get to see Iron Fist in addition to many other warriors. It would help rehabilitate the image of Iron Fist and maybe Shang Chi could teach him a thing or two about martial arts.

I know Marvel can technically do whatever they want, but bringing back Iron Fist, as bad as that was, and possibly NOT bringing back Agents of Shield, as good as it was, in some manner, would just be crazy.

People need to calm the fug down, season 1 of Iron First may of been a bit wonky but some of it was not that bad, and season two IMO was pretty damn good.

Heroes for Hire was my first comics exposure to Power Man and Iron Fist, I think that would be a great series!
I think the rings could still correlate with Kang somehow. Especially if they're doing time travel stuff. He manipulates everything, so they could make it make sense. Also I think the dragon that the iron fist kills, is resurrected or reincarnated every time. I may be wrong.

I really like Netflix Iron Fist, as well as, all the other Netflix Defenders. And I really want them all to interact in the MCU and MCU characters instead of just mentionings of events.

The villain of this new movie should be "Moving Shadow" and have it be another version of Simu Liu's Shang Chi. In the comics it's actually his younger half-brother but in the MCU you could just make it a multi-verse version of Shang Chi from a different space/time. He's what Shang Chi *would* have become, a cautionary tale. Many movies have done it before, just film Simu Liu twice and use CGI trickery and body doubles for fight scenes. It would be a huge shock because they keep him masked and mysterious the entire movie before removing his mask and revealing his face to be the same.
I actually liked Iron Fist when I didn't expect to when I first started watching it. There are a few things they could have done better but overall worth watching.
A series covering different “protectors” throughout Wakandan history sounds cool. But I’d love to see a series just focusing on the first Black Panther. I think that would be really dope to see the very beginnings of Wakanda and The Black Panther

I want a Hero’s for Hire hard PG-13 rated action / buddy comedy where Danny Rand is broke because corporate shenanigans and starts a business with Luke Cage, beginning their misadventures with occasional run-ins with other MCU characters.
Technically it would be a sin not to bring back Finn Jones, since everyone else is returning... Colleen Wing was great too, so a return of both Finn and Colleen is a must.

I think Evil is in its final season. So hopefully Mike Colter czn come back soon. It will be interesting to see what other Luke Cage actors they bring back.
The new Shang Chi comic is making him come across as a villain, which I dont think its really the case. But that would be an interesting twist on the character.

I'll always say, season 2 of Iron Fist was taking the show on the right track. Season 1's failure really set season 2 up to be hated... but if you go back and watch it on its own, it's a great season of Marvel television.

Great video. It does not matter to me which ancient Iron Fist they bring back since I am happy that any Iron Fist will show up in the MCU. I think the villain for Shang-Chi 2 should be the Dragon of the Moon. Then, say that Iron Fist was in love with MoonDragon. Also, as a post-credit scene someone finds out that Katie is in line to be the next MoonDragon. Awesome video. Bye

I think that the fight coordinator for Iron Fist should taken out and shot. They need to work with Alec Baldwin, but Finn Jones was fine. I love the idea of Iron Fist and Shang-Chi teaming up in a movie. This would be quite cool.
His choreography in season 1 was abysmal.when the supporting characters look more competent, fight wise than the lead? that is NOT good lol
Second season was better.they got the fight coordinator from black panther to help with the fights and it was more smoother and connected
Big glaring issue tho..........where was the kung fu? The fights were all basic punches n kicks,the fluid to fast strikes and excellent kicks and footwork of Chinese kung fu should have been displayed.while yes iron fist is a master in multiple martial arts kung fu is his bread and butted

I'm thrilled about this. From a strictly comic-lore pov, I like Iron Fist more than Shang Chi. I didn't hate the IF series and I hope to see both Danny and Colleen come back. Bring back Misty Knight too.

Man I would love it if they included Ta Lo as one of the Seven Capital Cities of Heaven. And the Wakandans should tie in to Z'Gambo if they show us Red Skull invade in WW2 since Rogers said Howard got it out. With help from John Aman.
That way we have 4 of the seven.
Since they showed a second in Defenders that isn't named but should be the Kingdom of Spiders since they showed The Bride joined up with The Hand. Danny left her alive too. With Shang-Chi leading all seven immortal weapons. Nobody would miss K'Un-Zi lol. They did Davos already anyway.

I think the smartest, and most likely way, they'll bring back Iron Fist (Danny) is they'll have an older Iron Fist in Shang Chi 2 like you said, to reintro the mythos and general character. Maybe have Coleeen or Danny himself show up in an episode or two of a future Disney+ show, and then do Heroes for Hire with Danny, Luke, Coleen and Misty.
I think Jones deserves another shot at Iron Fist. His acting wasn't the issue in the Netflix shows. Get some better writers and a better story and I think Jones could really knock the role outta the park.
I am curious if they are going to bring in the Agents of Atlas to the MCU, because they have a connection to the space dragons as well (turns out that the ATLAS organization was originally started by one of them).
I wonder if Echo will tie into this. Her show had that add line from her as a kid, asking her dad if dragons were real.
The show have 0 references or mentions of dragons besides that, but maybe she’s being set up to be part of the Defenders or some other storyline involving all these martial artists?
They need to give Fin Jones another change. Season 2 was much better than season 1 of Iron Fist.
The whole creative team messed up Iron Fist season 1, not just one actor.
