@@Rtd976 WOW. Thank you very much for taking time out to supply us with this list. I definitely appreciate it. Definitely looking forward to the other movies.
Eternals is one of my most favorite MCU films. Like GOTG, it showed that the MCU don't always need to do movies revolving around the same Averages character.
Been saying it 12:50.. Hear me out, wouldn't it be awesome if a variant of Thanos showed up and see RDJ saying something like "i kno u" and then Doom rips his spine out, like the comics
the eternals in comics are pretty cool, the problem was giving it to a new director who never ever directed a comic action movie. made it a boring snore fest.
I'm actually over my annoyance of having Downey Jr. back as a different character. I now like it a lot because he is an incredibly compelling actor and I'm certain he'll bring his own twist to it, not just doing Tony Stark.
Honestly I’m not as hyped for RDJ coming back as everyone else. I’d rather have had someone new. Eternals deserves a sequel too. There’s way too much just left out there.
Bob Iger said at the recent shareholders meeting that Marvel was going to concentrate on less content and better quality. He literally pointed to Deadpool and Wolverine as an example. BTW, he said this before the movie was even released. It’s the only Marvel movie of the year and it’s done by far the best business since Spider-Man. Which was actually a while ago.
I can’t believe that Marvel cancelled probably the most innovative and interesting new world and cast of characters. Eternals was the best, and you could tell that the director was a visionary.
Eternals wasn't bad. It just wasn't the 10/10 movie everyone expects from every Marvel movie. It was a middling 6/10 at best. It also raised a bunch of eyebrows in terms of MCU continuity, which is very important now. Every Marvel movie is now weighed heavily against every other movie, and eagle-eyed fans (and content creators) are quick to point out things that don't quite line up properly. These issues include "Why didn't the Eternals help in the fight against Thanos during Infinity War/Endgame?" and "What's up with the giant Celestial hand that no one on Earth seems to be addressing?", which has been joked about similarly to the giant sword in Warcraft. But now that everyone is back, I don't think there needs to be another Eternals movie. They've successfully introduced the threat that the Celestials pose and can now be sprinkled in and featured on other projects.
@@CadillacBoss30 Well the movie was already completed & no one was going to theaters during COVID. I've only been to the theater a handful of times since 2020.
The Eternals was quite impressive, especially next to some of Marvel’s latest semi-mid projects. The cinematography in that film was stunning and I feel they had a lot more to work with in terms of character development.
I feel like marvel could so easily just get a peer group of MCU fans and figure out what is worth developing and what isn’t and save themselves millions in wasted time and money.
They put too much pressure on themselves (disney) they're no longer patient with potential franchises. Eternals was plenty salvageable. We forget a few of the phase one movies weren't instant smashes.

the problem with eternals is that the movies after didn’t address Tiamut. The movie itself i dont think is that bad, and would have been looked back on in a greater light if there was an avengers movie soon after addressing tiamut or something. Kind of like how some films in first 3 phases were kinda trash but because the storylines were continued on and used in future films and stories they were okay. if that makes sense
We are way past the hundred year anniversary of the film industry and movie executives are still proving that the Dunning-Kruger effect is still intact in Hollywood!
Fun fact: WWE superstar Becky Lynch was supposed to be in Eternals. She was going to appear in a post credits scene but it was cut because it was "too depressing". I'm still hoping she still appears in the MCU in the future (She also had another scene cut from Black Panther Wakanda Forever too). Also Eternals wasn't bad, it's just the movie is a bit too long in the runtime.
Eternals is definitely not the worst Marvel movie. Robert Downey as Dr. Doom is horrible casting. I think being in panic mood, is going to help save the MCU. Definitely Deadpool vs Wolverine bought them time, and probably saved the MCU.
Wow... What drugs were TPTB even CONSIDERED these two as potential prospects? Two 'No-Brainer' decisions. Eternals wasn't that good and who would really want to see a Young Thanos, with adolescent versions of Nebula and Gamora? #MMGA
These overly critical fans are what is sabotaging Marvel. The Celestials was good, Shehulk was something to watch, MoonKnight was good. Marvels was something to watch. Get a grip, touch grass
And with Fantastic Four, you'll have Galactus. Galactus will coincidentally come at the same time as The Judge. Big Celestial fight in space. Maybe Doom arranges for it to be a "coincidence"? And it's going to be Loki's fault that the story was changed from a Kang focus to a Doom focus. Glorious Purpose!
Secret invasion was good. Eternals was also good. What happened was the trolls were louder than the actual fans, and Disney used that smoke screen to justify reducing content output.
I liked Eternals for the most part, I think it gets a bad rap. What I didn’t like was that the MCU explanation of the Deviants ignored Kirby’s concepts of societal class wars and made them random monsters the Celestials created to keep the Eternals in line (e.g. In case of Emergency, Break Glass). Instead of a sequel, they should continue the story on Disney+ within another show, or several shows. We need more Sersi, Starfox, Pip, Black Knight, Makkari and Sprite!
It could be possible for the Eternals story to continue, but include other characters. The main idea I've heard that could work well is including Star Lord, seeing as he's a Celestial, and could offer testimony to the others. His character would make an interesting contrast to the Eternals, with his inaccurate memories of Earth and their experiences being there for millennia. Plus his interactions with Starfox would be interesting, with the leftover drama with Thanos/Gamora. It would even be cool to include Nebula with him, just to give him a travel buddy, and more great interactions. Another idea is to make the story revolve around Galactus and include the fantastic four. Like Galactus is a rogue celestial who goes Cannibal and eats other celestials before they emerge. He goes after Earth because he doesn't realize that the celestial died, he just thinks it's about to emerge. That would make it interesting seeing Galactus' Heralds fighting the Eternals, while the trial is commencing.
I didn’t like the Eternals bc it felt so disjointed, but seeing that as the groundwork for a larger cosmic story would’ve been cool. I really like the quirky cosmic side of Marvel and GOTG is among my favorite MCU movies. Seeing an Eternals War as Avengers 5 and 6 would’ve been amazing, and far better than the Multiverse Saga crap we have now.
I still maintain that Eternals wasn't terrible. It would've been better as an anthology because there are so many characters with so many interesting back stories. I just don't know how they fit in the marvel universe. Even in the comic books they have always struggled to find a place because they are so powerful.

It would be sick to have ghost rider and blade team up movie to introducing both characters into the mcu!
Dude, this was a really good video it probably raises as many questions as it answered. Makes us think more
I'm still keeping my fingers crossed hoping they will do a king of the symbiotes story acr in the MCU and bring in Knull.
That would be a totally different thing
Knull is under Sony tho so they'd probably try to rush it out instead of sharing and building up that arc
@@FromDaShaolinSlums So he would be in the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man universe interesting
The eternals was the movie I saw the night I got with my girlfriend. 3 years later and now it’s getting cancelled😔
This is what the haters, lazy bumps and hypocrites wanted.
Was her boyfriend there too with you guys?
@@user-nc8ey7bw5o Huh?
@@johnsantos507 The Eternals was not a good film.
@@DavidHeffron78 So. I don't care.
X-Men and Eternals could coexist. I don't see a problem there
At least bring some of them back for secret wars. Thena , makkari, phastos , and ikarus are good heavy weights.
Personally ok with there not being a sequel for eternals right now it wasnt a great film but im glad marvel has seen the eror of their ways.
Wow, what a shock and mystery that they canceled them. I could not have predicted this. Wow.. 😮💨😒
Loki theme music still hits hard!
Thanks Charlie, I really wanted to see young Thanos. Hate all these cuts. Glad to get the X Men back but didn't want to lose all these.
Eternals is one of my most favorite MCU films. Like GOTG, it showed that the MCU don't always need to do movies revolving around the same Averages character.
Maybe Marvel could use the Eternals storyline somewhere else
“Everybody knows what happens to eggs when chickens hatch out of them… RIP Earth” is possibly the greatest RUclips quote ever.
"Perfectly balanced, as all things should be"
Been saying it 12:50.. Hear me out, wouldn't it be awesome if a variant of Thanos showed up and see RDJ saying something like "i kno u" and then Doom rips his spine out, like the comics
I wanted to see a "Thanos Rising" type movie where we see Thanos come to become the mad titan that he was before Infinity War
Can't get the idea of young thanos and starfox backstory being marvels version of wicked out of my head now
I found the 1st Eternals to be lackluster. They took the Goddess of War and made her painfully annoying. I thought the celestials would be the same.
Who is the Goddess again?
Meanwhile, still waiting for season three avengers earth mightest heroes and Justice season five announcement
James Gunn killed Young Justice for good this time. Sucks
Eternals wasn't horrible just really dragged on. Thanks Charlie
the eternals in comics are pretty cool, the problem was giving it to a new director who never ever directed a comic action movie. made it a boring snore fest.

Eternals ending actually had such an impact on the world and set up a perfect pitch ⚾️ but no one at Marvel was at the bat to hit the ball 😭
The first Eternals bombed so hard, I was surprised that Marvel wanted to make a sequel.😂
I'm actually over my annoyance of having Downey Jr. back as a different character. I now like it a lot because he is an incredibly compelling actor and I'm certain he'll bring his own twist to it, not just doing Tony Stark.
Young Thanos sounds like a sitcom.
I know Eternals got tons of hate but I never understood why. One of my favorite new projects they’ve come out with
@10:46… you and me both, blaaa!🤢
The Eternal storyline was the most interesting one they had. Celestial are so cool
the eternals is an overhated movie
I watched The Eternals on Disney+ once and it's not so bad.
Honestly I’m not as hyped for RDJ coming back as everyone else. I’d rather have had someone new.
Eternals deserves a sequel too. There’s way too much just left out there.
I need my own solo movie
Bob Iger said at the recent shareholders meeting that Marvel was going to concentrate on less content and better quality. He literally pointed to Deadpool and Wolverine as an example. BTW, he said this before the movie was even released. It’s the only Marvel movie of the year and it’s done by far the best business since Spider-Man. Which was actually a while ago.
You just made my day better
No problem!
@@emergencyawesomeyou rock 😊
I can’t believe that Marvel cancelled probably the most innovative and interesting new world and cast of characters. Eternals was the best, and you could tell that the director was a visionary.
Makkari is the best live screen speedster I've seen personally she was my favorite..
I think the sequel would've been better than the first
She’s my favorite too. That actor had a lot of charisma.
@@jonbodhi So far I've only seen her in Eternals and The Walking Dead but she's great in both.
My man! Keep it coming
Watching the eternals was like going to the marvel DMV
INHUMANS VS ETERNALS VS X-MEN🎉🎉🎉😮😮😮😊😊😊😁😁😁👍👍👍

Should've released Eternals on Disney+ simultaneously with movie theater release. The casual audience has no idea about Eternals characters.
Lol they would have made even less money....
@@CadillacBoss30 Well the movie was already completed & no one was going to theaters during COVID. I've only been to the theater a handful of times since 2020.
The Eternals was quite impressive, especially next to some of Marvel’s latest semi-mid projects. The cinematography in that film was stunning and I feel they had a lot more to work with in terms of character development.
i think it’d be an easy slam dunk to just make thor 5 be him meeting the eternals in space
I liked Eternals. & I guess Tiamut is now Isle Adamantium now.

the problem with eternals is that the movies after didn’t address Tiamut.
After Secret wars They should make mcu Comic Accurate
Midnight Sons or Moonknight S2 would be perfect for Black Knight

We are way past the hundred year anniversary of the film industry and movie executives are still proving that the Dunning-Kruger effect is still intact in Hollywood!

Fun fact: WWE superstar Becky Lynch was supposed to be in Eternals. She was going to appear in a post credits scene but it was cut because it was "too depressing". I'm still hoping she still appears in the MCU in the future (She also had another scene cut from Black Panther Wakanda Forever too). Also Eternals wasn't bad, it's just the movie is a bit too long in the runtime.
hi Emergency Awesome
Hi!
#MMGA
Preach.
Having the Eternals show us details of a younger Thanos and their connection to him would've made a better movie than the one we got.
The eternals was really good
I just want to spider man 98 and avengers earth mightiest heroes be revived
These overly critical fans are what is sabotaging Marvel. The Celestials was good, Shehulk was something to watch, MoonKnight was good. Marvels was something to watch. Get a grip, touch grass
you are insane if u thought any of those were good. acutally i liked marvels , but the rest were trash :(
This video explains, Why phrase 5-6 felt like it didn't have any clear direction.
Thanos is just misunderstood.
I enjoyed the Eternals. It was a bit too long. But I was hoping for a sequel.
