Congrats! I love my JVM205. I live on the OD Orange channel with an SD-1 (Waza) and it's brutal. Like most gearheads, I own a dozen different overdrives and tube screamers but Marshalls love the SD-1. IMO, the red channel is much more usable than the 5150 red (I also live on the blue channel on my 5150 with a boost) but I don't really use it because I'm really happy on the OD Orange. If you want a great noise gate, pick up an ISP Decimator. Nice and quiet without killing your tone, I use it with all my high gain amps.
Awesome man!!! I love this amp, I also use the orange channel with a OD, on my 5150lll Stealth, I also use the blue channel with a OD! The Red channels on both amps are just nasty in stereo!!! I had an SD1, really need to get another one! Super shredders for sure!!!!🤘🎸🤘🔥

Yeah, I hate to admit it, considering how many overdrives I have but the SD-1 is such a great match for a Marshall... so much so that I bought the Waza version, which IMO beefs up the bottom end a bit more than the regular one but even the regular SD-1 is great and a steal compared to most overdrives. It also works great with the blue channel of the 5150 III.
@@Darth.Shredder hell yeah!!! I’m running 4 different OD’s, really need to pick up another SD1, will probably go after the SD1w, cause I love a heavier and thicker bottom end!!!

Unfortunately not, I got it used in excellent condition from GC, killer amp, you definitely can’t go wrong getting one that’s for sure!!!🤘🎸
