​@REDDRAGON666ful I currently own a set of the EMTY Blackouts in my Mick Thomson Pro model Jackson, and I previously had the 7 string originals in a Jackson Corey Beaulieu KV7Q Pro model. I remember being happy enough with the 7 string original Blackouts in that Corey guitar, and I wish I had it on-hand at the moment to compare against a few of my other rigs. I mostly play in E standard, so the EMTYs in the Mick guitar aren't quite doing what I want, but that package isn't designed around E standard, so no shade thrown at anyone there. Now, I recently acquired a nice LTD MH-1000 Evertune model with Fishman Moderns set up in E standard. I immediately loved the note separation and clarity, but they lack a percussive chunky beefiness that I want as a guy who plays alone and doesn't record. I want obscene palm mutes just because I don't have to sit in a mix. The Moderns aren't currently doing that for me. The new Mick Thomson Fishmans can probably do what I want, but I'm looking for an active mount 7 string pickup for personal reasons. Anyway, thanks again for linking your video on that FB post. I'll keep checking you out for a spell.

@@JokerCat9 it truly is, I ended up selling it though, it seemed to shrill to me, I’m sure with more adjustments I could’ve gotten something out of it, definitely crushes though!!!

With these, a 6 band eq is already built in with his EQ settings, so just plug and play! These do chug heavily, and he used the regulars for ever! So I’m glad he came out with his own set, my Red channel has never sounded so good!!!!

It's a good set. I'm still dialing in mine between my axe fx and engl savage 120 mk2. I come from playing blackouts, emgs and fishman. This setreally lends itself to lead playing if you are a ripper.

@@Corpsecrank some of the trailers I work with have these rectangular rubber matts in them, I’ve been thinking about trying some of those. 🤘

@@REDDRAGON666ful Yeah anything to cut down sound bouncing off that stuff. When the highs and mids hit those huge open flat surfaces they reflect pretty bad. Once you handle that your room is gonna be rockin though. Pretty much perfect setup for jamming out in.

Awesome man!!! I love this amp, I also use the orange channel with a OD, on my 5150lll Stealth, I also use the blue channel with a OD! The Red channels on both amps are just nasty in stereo!!! I had an SD1, really need to get another one! Super shredders for sure!!!!🤘🎸🤘🔥

Yeah, I hate to admit it, considering how many overdrives I have but the SD-1 is such a great match for a Marshall... so much so that I bought the Waza version, which IMO beefs up the bottom end a bit more than the regular one but even the regular SD-1 is great and a steal compared to most overdrives. It also works great with the blue channel of the 5150 III.
