    Great sound! I love it!
    It's a super versatile amp, I believe you can play any style with that amp.

    0:56 That's the tone I've been searching to see if this amp can do. A pushed/compressed neck pickup blues tone. I finally found your video, and that tone sounds absolutely fantastic!

      Thanks! It’s the same amp settings as later in that first blues progression, just with the volume rolled back to about seven on the guitar!

    Great demo.. I bought thus amp in 07 right when they came out.. I never noticed it b4 but recently it came to my attention there I was getting a pretty big jump in volume from clean orange to clean red.. it's not a master volume thing.. I made sure I was in the same master volume.. I was wondering if ur getting this same thing?

    • @jonfai
      @jonfai  6 месяцев назад

      Yep! It adds a gain stage when you go from orange to red on any channel so you will need to adjust the volume accordingly. This is less noticeable in higher gain channels like od1/2 due to the compression and reduced head room, so it’s most noticeable on the clean channel.

    All the modes on the clean channel have circuitry far more in common with Blackface Fender than Marshall Bluesbreaker. Green mode on the crunch channel is very similar Plexi/Bluesbreaker.

    what volume settings are you playing? looking to get this to be somewhat neighborhood friendly...

    • @jonfai
      @jonfai  5 месяцев назад +1

      No attenuator. Master volume is around 1. I just balance the channels from there. It’s pretty bedroom appropriate at that level.
