    Hi Forsythia!
That's a nice cactus - the serrations look great. I hope you have better luck with this one flowering; the flowers look as if they'll be a nice red.
    Thanks for sharing with us.
Hope you and Tori are well 😊

That picture of the flower was beautiful I saw one one time in a CVS Pharmacy of all places lol I didn’t buy it because I don’t have a window that would get enough sun I really did like it

Hi Barbara! Can you believe those beautiful flowers are from the Cereus jamacaru?!? I think cactus flowers are so pretty and many are surprised that they actually flower at all lol

That’s a big one. I bought one at my local Walmart too (not as beefy) but the outer pot had a tiny crack and I was able to get it for $5. No biggie since I repot all my cactus in my gritty mix and terracotta. The medium it’s in is not ideal for cactus (pure coco peat) but I’m sure you know this with your cactus collection. 😊

You scored pay $5 for one! And yes I addressed the coco mix they come in 👍🏽 definitely not appropriate for a cactus, so repotting is required. Thanks for watching!

Thats AWESOME you have bought a 'Cuddly' Cereus jamacaru they are GORGEOUS :-D I have one of these and they are stunning, and at $20 thats a brilliant price as mine was £25 and half the size of yours when I bought it a couple of years ago, they grow really fast too, mine trebled in height last Summer, thanks so much for sharing your beautiful new Cactus beauty with us Forsythia, and sending you and Tori lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER to North Texas for a wonderful weekend XXXX

I have one. According to experts it's not a jamacaru but an hexagonus. It's extra thirsty and grow really fast.

Thanks for the tip. I will have to do further research.

@@CactiOnWhite mine have been identified by the guy with the Cereus flickr album and I'm convinced by his criteria. I'm pretty sure it's not jamacaru at least.

It’s a variegated Sansevieria masoniana (AKA whale fin). Thanks for watching!
