Referee Joey Crawford ejects Scottie Pippen. Before leaving the court, Pip throws a chair onto the United Center's floor!
Listen to my conversation w/ then-Spurs coach, Bob Hill: inallairness.co....
Bulls was having a meltdown in '95 until MJ came back and the universe made sense again lol
and Dennis Rodman plays ball with the Bulls together with MJ and Scottie haha
@@GTiger7019 First rodman was with the bad boy pistons throwing the bulls around and then he decides to get scottie ejected and now they're teamates and all get rings, happy ending right?
Ya but didn't they lose to the magic
@@cedricfeacher5993 yes. Jordan literally just came back at the end of the season. He was not in nba conditioning after 2 years . The other guys had been playing all year. Even the greatest needs to get his legs under him. That shaq magic team was scary & went to the finals & got swept bc they were babies. If shaq stayed however I dont know if they would have stayed great. Anderson apparently was messed up by missing the 4 straight FTs which is obviously all mental & penny got hurt.
We went deep in the playoffs without MJ. Do your homework
this is how a nice guy behaves when fed up with all the bullshit hes experiencing.
Don't take nice ppl kindness for a weakness... We'll snap to the point and have others shook
Pippen is the man! He rarely got pissed so u know that day he was livid!
Little do Rodman and Pippen know, the next 3 years, they'd be winning championships together 😂😂😂
Yes Rodman saw pip throw that chair and immediately thought to himself I need a teammate like that
plus Michael Jordan himself haha GOAT
Tru
I couldn't believe it
@@alp21188 will perdue thought "I need to get traded for Rodman for them to be teammates" 😂
Pip had a badass fro
That's the tighest fro I've ever seen in an NBA game.
He looks like Tommy Hearns
His fro is Legendary.
Best hairline in the league
Trust me when Scottie first got that mini fro back in 94-95 we all grew one he set the bar with that doo
what a rare piece of footage. well done
Hey, Bryce! I obtained it from another YT user, but he's credited towards end of the clip. It's sweet footage. Hope you're well, mate.
I vividly remember watching this game as a kid. I would remind people throughout my life about this game when he threw a chair on the court. Nobody believed me. 20 years later with the help of youtube. Thank You!
I remember watching this with my neighbor. The next we were goofing around & his cousin presents to get angry & proceeded to throw a chair in the driveway.
As soon as grabbed the chair Jim Ross voice popped into my head. lol
Keezy Kilo "With God as my witness, that chair is broken in half - bah Gawd"
Evan Jones salute Jim Ross
Somebody stop the dayum match
Maaa gawwwd
2:08 The irony of Rodman looking on, as if he would never 🤣🤣
I remember Joey Crawford Ejected Tim Duncan for laughing at the bench! WTF
😂😂😂
I been looking for this clip for years.
As had I. It's a forgotten gem. For the wrong reasons.
This is when he needed Michael back
So true, Michael. Great call, mate.
Just a couple games later he put his Air Jordan sneaker and pointed in the camera .....coming back
+Adam Ryan nba fan born in chicago here do u have more old nba footage
Pippen is and will always be my favorite player!
God why?
+TL2354 why not? Top 50 🐐
ruclips.net/video/m0lFg08C1ko/видео.html Rodman and Pippen both useless players without M.Jordan-- Had no game to even score over stockton when he was 4 feet from the rim-- passed it up to Jordan for the winner
Same for me if someone doesn’t understand how really good Pip was. He doesn’t see the game properly
Nice show, Scottie.
I remember when later that season MJ came back, they were labeled as Air Jordan & Chair Pippen
This was built frustration because of several reasons.
1. That year, the Bulls were a middle pack team and weren't going anywhere before MJ returned towards the end of the season.
2. Pippen demanded to be traded after refusing to go on the court in GM 3 of the ECSF against NY when Phil made a play for Toni Kukoc for the game winner.
3. He felt that he was still under MJ's shadow and was getting underpaid by the organization.
Abel Mehari was he suspended for that
....he asked for that contract...actually all the people in organization told him not to sing that contract its going to be under value in few years but he was persistent he said that he needs security and he wants to sing that contract. If u were bulls gm and u have ur best player under 6 y contract would u say after 2 3 years ok I will pay u more...no of course not...it was his own fault
Great insight, sometimes the circumstances leading up to the final outcome are more interesting.
Tomi Saric That is true, it was Jerry Krause who tried to convince Scottie not to sign the new contract for those under valued reasons, but he wouldn't budge because he wanted his pay day.
I was felt that Krause was mostly right on the perception of personalities on Jordan and Jackson's ability to build a winning team as an executive. And Pippen lack of knowledge of money management during contract negotiations.
Good points on your end!!
sign not sing
scottie pippen :the most underrated player ever
And the most underpaid. Even players such as Divac, Benoit Benjamin, and Danny Ferry were paid more than Pippen.
I'm a Knick fan who loved Pip, what a great all around player.
this is also the ref that ejected duncan for smiling lol
yup
The forbidden laugh they call it.
Exactly
I was at this game...I was 7 years old. :)
People nowadays are so quick to judge, Scottie just felt like he was alone and everybody was holding him back from feeling emotions
pippen :merry christmas
joe: santa's not real
pippen: *video plays*
Wow that is soo funny lmao
I loved the era. Lots of manhood at least. We needed that.
Pippen be like: This is my team. I'll fight anybody right now for it
This is definitely how Scottie acted in the Pippen household after watching The Last Dance.
😂😂😂
Scottie was still that dude. Top 50!
Scottie Pimpin!
Pip was pissed after saying 3 seconds to Crawford and Crawford being Crawford T'd him up
I'm glad he retired from refereeing
So am i. i'm scared of joey crawford. i would not want him to come near me.
Dam, I’ve never seen Scottie so mad
Bob Knight wants his gimmick back
lol
i love pippen such a bad ass
It's Joey Crawford. He even gave Tim Duncan a technical for smiling on the bench
The irony how Rodman would join this team exactly a year later and be pulling crazier shit.
0:54 Pip went into Steve Wilkos mode
Lmfao
Pip is so calm do it's funny to see him snap
it was clearly during MJ's absence : Scottie behaves like a real charismatic leader although not a nice move - i doubt he would have done that with Michael on the court
Leaders don't quit on their teams in the playoffs
I meant the dark side of leaders....black days
No one's perfect: especially people viewed as leaders or heroes.
Pippen was a bit of a diva when Jordan left. He got mad at Phil because he made Kukoc take the last shot. Jordan is the best leader, he kept Pip under control for the most part.
Renardsurleweb well he throw the ball at the referee once and Jordan was in the game he was draymond green kind of player and mj was like curry the scorer
love the 90's
He probably wrecked the locker room
U. S. It’s was rumored after that game Scotty had called Jordan to see what he’s been up to and Jordan told him he was coming back eventually
Luc Longley had the best haircut lol
If you ever wondered if pippen was a leader just look to this season. Him and MJ both needed eachother.
Thanks for sharing. Those were the days
If I lost Jordan after winning like hell i'd have a fit too
Weird to see a freak out nba clip which features Rodman and he’s not the crazy one
Legend has it that chair is still holding a grudge against Scottie....
Pip was melting down at this point. Thankfully Michael came back not too long after this.
Johnny Polo he also demanded a trade this year as well as the Bulls were on the verge of trading him to Seattle for Shawn Kemp.
Scottie, that was a wonderful Bobby Knight impersonation.
Announcers: You don’t need this in the league!
Indiana Pacers: Hold my beer…
It had to be Crawford. Who else. Since people came to see him reffing and not Pip playing.
I think Pippen was feeling the pressure of being the #1 guy with MJ gone.
Scottie went through it..
I love how big of a deal they made out of someone throwing a chair onto a court.
He got fined 6k and one game suspension. In today’s NBA, that will be 40k and five game suspension
luc longley looked so fresh out of the boat, he looked so australian here
If Jordan was on the team, Pippen would had gotten those calls
Didn't realize how far that chair went
Good ol Joey Crawdord. Always harassing that whistle. Glad he retired already.
Lol steve kerr sitting down just chilling @ 2:28
I remember this game very well. The amazing thing is that The Bulls won it in the end!
Actually The Spurs Won Followed By Kukoc Missed The Shot
Do not delete this footage!! Pippen looked like he was ready to lay the smack down on that Ref.U imagine Scotties big ass hand across your face.
Luc Longley was a strong dude
The same damn ref that ejected Tim Duncan smh lol
Joey Crawford lasted forever didn't he
0:54- "He throws a chair! My goodness gracious!!"
That's one way of putting it!
Honestly people say pippen wouldn’t have been as good without Michael. He honestly would’ve been an all star on another team.
if u look closely in the background u can see bobby knight 😂
I bet Joey made a joke about 'No tippin'' Pippen, and that's why Scottie got so upset.
why I love Scottie
Not even close to a 3 second on Rodman. C'mon Scottie
LEGEND!!
Joey Damn Crawford
Scottie was channeling his inner Bobby Knight!
lol come on scottie, it joey crawford.
Scottie Pippen meets Bobby Knight
You’ve been relieved of your duties Joey Here take a seat
Dennis Rodman just chillin lol
0:40: Late Jack Haley showing the Bulls his bench cheerleader skills, would join them the following season.
Great call. Haley was a super teammate. I'm not kidding. He LOVED being in the NBA. RIP Jack.
This is the first time I've seen this
During the 1994/1995 season during the first 65 games Jordan was still retired the bulls were 34 and 31 34 and 29 in games pippen played in. The reason the bulls struggled during the first 65 games Jordan was still retired was because they lost Horace grant and Scott Williams to free agency in 1994. But the bulls were still in the sixth seed and pippen was leading the in every team category. The bulls were going to make the playoffs if Jordan don't come back because the Celtics were the eight seed with a 35 and 47 record. The bulls would have won 41 to 44 games if Jordan don't come back and would've been a seventh seed at worst.
I got here because of 'The Last Dance' and this moment being edited in as a throwaway moment. Really interesting. :)
I wonder will this clip be shown on The Last Dance episodes 6&8.
I thought he was coming after Rodman 😂
He just heard an old lady complaining about the seats, so he gave her that chair the best way he could, just like Bobby.
Was this shown on "The Last Dance"? Seeks pretty crucial in that time without Jordan, and the Bulls going south..
Shown for a few seconds but not really talked about.
“My goodness gracious!” 😂
No tipping Pippen.
Funny thing is, Pippen was acting like Rodman. Then in the next season they're teammates. And ended up with a 3peat of rings.
Rodman didn't throw chairs. Rodman headbutted referees.
The title could be "Joey Crawford makes Pippen throw a chair"
Chairs just don't get the respect they used too.
The day Dennis Rodman's and Bobby Knight's stem cells were cloned together
Great commentary by Doug Collins. Called the toss of Pippen, then called the fact that he needed to get into the locker room . . ( before he threw the chair ).
i remember this game on tnt lol
Who won?
Pippen top 10 all time greatest player ever….. underrated !
LOL Why am I not surprised it's Joey the Ejector Crawford
All Scottie did was yell “3 seconds” to Joey Crawford. Pip felt Dennis was in the paint for 3 seconds and he was notifying that to Joey. Joey been whack
Dennis is allowed to be in the paint for 3 seconds....
Pissed off Pippen throws a chair
Things went from bad to worse for the Bulls - they ended up losing this game when Robinson stole an inbounds pass with the score tied in the final seconds and drove the length of the court for a layup with about a half second left.
wow~
refs were like, michael jordans not on the team at the moment, were not gonna ref games in your favor anymore.
I know the obvious comparison is Bobby Knight. But this actually reminded me of a tantrum Tim Hardaway Sr went on where he grabbed a tv monitor on the scorers table and threw it onto the court (this was still plugged in when he grabbed, it mind you, but the cord went with it) as he walked off post-ejection.
No way the NBA was going to allow pippen a ring without jordan(he was fully capable but bad calls can control the game) pippen is not the cash cow jordan is. Cant say jordans the greatest if pippen gets a ring without him and profits go down because Jordans not the main reason for success
Totally agree, finally someone who TRULY sees the game for the way it is. In 94' the Bulls was WELL on their way to a 4th title (& one WITHOUT MJ). The league couldn't have that, so they put refs against Scottie & the Bulls.
nice theory but pip really fuck up his chance when he acted like a spoiled brat in the playoffs when phil designed a play for kukoc, who was the better clutch player,. look at lebron giving way to kyrie during clutch, he won a ring doing so..if what you said was true regarding the nba protecting jordan, detroit wouldn't have won any championships,. pippen collapsed under pressure,.
Let's just say that bad call was never called against the Knicks, Bulls win in 6, they would have beat the Pacers in the eastern conference finals, they would not have beaten the Rockets in the 1994 NBA Finals.
Of course this involves Joey Crawford
