- on a respected defensive player and HoFer

That is just the set-up without getting into the dunk itself with Ewing falling down, Spike Lee getting dissed and the referees calling a technical. Simply the best facial of all time

I don't think some people realize just how good Pippen really was he almost led the Bulls to the NBA Finals that year without Michael Jordan. He was truly one of the best to ever play
To be fair, he was groomed by Michael Jordan.
Basketball is a team game, and no 1 player wins a Championship by themselves. Jordan was the superstar that put them over the edge. Every team has that one or 2 players that really puts the team on the next level of greatness. MJ was that person on the Bulls, Kobe on the Lakers, Lebron on Cavs, Bird on Celtics, Magic/Kareem(choose one) on the Lakers, etc... list goes on and on. Its very rare there is a team with no studs that can combine and be just that good as a whole team, to overcome a team with superstars.

I’m saying skill wise it’s better now. The footwork, dribbling, shooting, passing and defense. Training methods have greatly improved..athletes are faster, stronger and more skilled.

The bulls and Knicks series were iconic.
East so so competitive, Western conference didn't even matter back then
The West start to took over after The Bull era was over
Started to take over
@Bob Ross something was missing in 94/95 can't put my finger on it though
Outside of Houston, the Eastern Conference had the New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, Indiana Pacers and the Miami Heat during the 90s that could have won the NBA Finals. Yet the Western Conference had the Seattle Supersonics, Utah Jazz, Phoenix Suns and Portland Trailblazers that could have done the same. Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs would take the 2000s later on. Then came the Class of 2003
Pippen would be absolutely scary in this era.

That was when Jordan had retired. He carried the team & they almost won a championship.....I miss those days!!
Scottie was awesome from 90-94 truly one of the top 5-7 players in the league during that stretch
Finally after all these years, this play, this dunk is getting the attention it deserves. This was in the playoffs, against a legitimate rival. It meant something. This was Pippen as the man on his own team. By the way, the Chicago commentary of this was much better, the dunk and the color team had me off my couch.
Who’s watching this dunk again after seeing The Last Dance on ESPN? That was pure savagery. Scottie should have changed his name to Savage Pippen.
A lot of people think Scottie was overrated. Well I'm not one of these people. In fact I think he's underrated and underappreciated. Yeah I agree that he wouldn't have won 6 rings hadn't he played with the GOAT. Scottie though could have easily left the Bulls and be the 1st option on another team. But he didn't because he cared more about WINNING than INDIVIDUAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS. Scootie wouldn't have won 6 rings without MJ. No doubt. But the opposite is also true. Pippen's LEADERSHIP and UNSELFISHNESS were/continue to get overlooked and we should appreciate the GREATNESS of Scottie Pippen. Don't forget that he's arguably the best perimeter defender in history.
Mj would not have 6 without pippen aswell
nobody thinks Pippen was overrated
@@ugnius2707 Yeah I said it "But the opposite is also true"
@@Filmblanc There are some who think he was overrated
Sadly, people would disregard his defense just cause he didn't win a DPOY award. I'd argue that he was a better defender than Mike because he could go 1-4 and would always go for the best offensive non center on the other team. I've had arguments over people calling him a mere sidekick.
