Funny how something so random circles back home. I grew up in Newport News and then Yorktown. Small world. My little brother started working out of college for Northrop Grumman out of the yard too.
Using cor-ten for your drip-edge is a great idea, it's corrosion resistance properties will help it last many years. And your welding is Very consistent!👍👍
Hey guy's been watching every episode and I'm super impressed by your impressive super team work and all that you vlogg Wayne from the UK 🇬🇧 Love and peace out ❤
Your posts make me feel like I’m watching a series on Netflix or something, I wait patiently on my next fix 🤣 love from just outside Glasgow Scotland x
I would recommend taking some foam cans and air seal that gap. Also, at some point in time, you are going to have to put SA membrane on the exterior side of the ICF for the final waterproofing.
How for the love of god did you become such a proficient welder???? Yikes, I only wish I could weld like that. As always a fun video and great progress too!
Pro Tip: Knee pads cost less than $10. Much cheaper than new pants, plus it's much easier on your knees. And you won't have to get your knees wet in puddles.
Polyurethane Caulking would have been faster,, Sieka 2c + will take care of that problem for the next 10-13 years as wll as adding insulation factor and bug proofing.if painred and protected from the UV rays it can last 20 years no problem
Excellent solution! I must say, your weld beads look amazing. You truly are a world-class master welder.

This is a step in the right direction, but you'll have to address humidity in the air over time as well.

Thank you so much!! We haven't refurbished and painted them yet from when we welded the panels in.

And would the next thing be plumbing, electrical, and wallboard?
In theory! A few more things to do before we can start those steps, but coming soon
