Cole's works give me nolstalgia for events I never even experienced. He is a favorite artist of mine.

There is a definite combo of joy and lament. The hunters returning before night sets in, with food, to the joy of the family...comes at the cost of death.

Cole was one of the first to understand what man can do to the landscape and environment.

I like the close up of the peak near the end, with its cupped palm facing the sun.

Amazing!! Thank you so much! Perfect. I love that when one of the speakers quotes something, you show the passage or quote in its whole on the screen.

This is another great Cole - the more I learn about his work, the more taken I am with him as an artist. I like his.. is it accurate to say Impressionist style? Loose brushwork, something like that, lol. You can see so many details for something that appears intentionally "blurry" in a sense.
You can tell how much he loves nature which resonates with me. I share his bittersweet and conflicted perspectives on modernization.
On a mildly spoopy and vaguely amusing note, near the end of the video, as Dr. Harris spoke about God's handiwork, I received a verse of the day notification for Hebrews 12:2. I'd expect a different verse, but maybe I shouldn't.

I don’t know if you took a look outside but most of this country is still very empty and untouched other then the single roads that run through nowhere. Like 50% of the USA is uninhabited still.
