1979 Ford F-350 4x4 SuperCab

Offered here is perhaps one of the more iconic Ford trucks ever produced. While the ‘Super Cab’ option had been around for a few years, 1979 marked the first year the F-350 came equipped with 4wd and only 1,685 Super Cabs were produced.
Our 1979 Super Cab was ordered from the factory with the following options that made it just 1 of 38 ever produced:
400 V8- 2bbl
C-6 Transmission
3.54 gear

Gorgeous BUT the 400cid and C6 killed it. I grew up with one looking just like this, color and all but it was a 460 4sp & manual hubs...

Hmmm, not a lot of info. Looks nice but front hubs are covered so most likely a full time 4x4. Automatic trans. Is not a favorite. Engine size??

The hubs are covered because we were unable to source the correct factory caps to expose the locking hubs. It's powered by the factory 400 modified V8.

full time 4 wheel drive didn't have 4 low, neutral, 2 high, and 4 high. It was either low lock, neutral or high lock. You couldn't disengage the front end with locking hubs. Totally different transfer case.
