    Five-star dinner also doubles the resistance you gain from resistance potions, which means 100% resistance from a single medium potion.

    I really appreciate Lone Wolf. The fact that they added that, and the current Steam sale, means I'm going to pick this up.
    One of the things that keeps me from playing more classical CRPGs is having to manage a party. It makes everything take longer: Combat, item/skill/gear management, etc. I love the idea of going it alone/with a single partner. Like in a top down ARPG like Diablo 2 (Diablo-likes being probably my favorite overall game genre).
    Thanks for your whole video series on this game, too. I'll be checking a lot of them out.

    Ambidextrous is a bit underappreciated, it counts your offhand as 'free' when you are using a two-handed weapon like a staff or a two-handed strength weapon.
    The damage of a scroll is identical to its memorized counterpart, meaning it scales with attributes and skills, but costs 1 less AP and can be used multiple times in one turn.
    The damage of grenades is usually really bad though, since it does not scale with any attributes. I only use them for CC. But in that regard, charm, oil, smoke, and tremor(knockdown) are all solid choices.

    Leech counters rupture tendons if the ground is clear of elements. Shackles of pain + the pawn for free dmg. With living armor you get free mr. Good for mass rogue fights like magister gheists.

    I think you're totally missing out on the potential of Glass Cannon. If you make a full team of mages and give them glass cannon, then that allows you essentially teleport or group up all the enemies and then just stun/disable every single one of them and blow them up before they even get a chance to react. Yeah you get screwed over by status effects but if you lean fully into the RP of the build with 2 or more characters as you gear up, you get to just outright delete entire groups of people before they get to hit you.
    It's totally high risk high reward, difficult to play with early on but snowballs as gear scales up.

      That requires having high initiative for all characters and playing on a lower difficulty. It would be good if there were more and better taunts

    what do you mean glass cannon is awful? it's perfect for an assassin with the invisibility skill or pots, oneshot a guy for sure with all those Action Points, then go invisible for the end turn.

    I will say a leech/living on a necro/melee of some sort isn't to bad actually but generally you'll replace leech anyways with something far better. But the use of living when each hit heals is amazing especially if your focusing on physical armor anyways.

    Great video! But I LoL'd at the fact that you're saying that if you can't talk to animals you miss out on so many quests & probably shouldn't be playing the game... but for actual companion quests? Just pick 1 of those are forget the rest, hahaha

      @Ze TheGame Why are you commenting on a 2 year old comment? It's been so long that I don't even remember commenting! Also, I'm pretty sure I asked this question out of curiosity and for random build ideas. On top of that, I haven't even touched these talents while playing, nor did/do I plan to. Rather benefit from talents while alive instead of after death.

    I'm new to this game so just figuring things out, but I know that after Act 1 you can respec your characters. I'm wondering if Bigger and Better is a good skill early on to get some extra stats for the first part of the game, then you can respec and swap it for something else. Does that make sense?

    Does "5 star diner" work for undead characters drinking poison?

  • @similorradique2670
    @similorradique2670 2 года назад

    For anyone still looking at this, glass cannon + 5 star meal is fucking broken, you just have to use high enough initiative to go first or the skill that makes you survive 1 turn at 1 hp. Then after you had your turn keep 1 ap to use an invisibility potion, boom you get about 10 turns of rest thanks to 1 potion and talent
