I'll never get sick of my Physical Media Collection. Although I'm mostly a Blu Ray collector now, I usually only get a movie on DVD if it's the only format it's on or if the Blu Ray is wayyyyy too expensive. Love your collection, it has a lot of personality.
I have blind bought many movies on DVD for $1 in OP shops/Pawn stores some Ivé watched only once and a few I'll upgrade to Blu ray/4K if i can find them at a good price
Some blurays completely butcher the original vision imo. They change the look and ruin the feel of scenes. Terminator 2 is one of the worst offenders of this.
It also depends on the film too, like if its not a crazy action or special effects one. I bought Cruel Intentions the other day for about £2 on DVD. It is about £20 on blu ray, with no 4k release. But a film like that is perfectly fine to watch in lower quality.

What an awesome collection! So many great movies and also some that I never really heard of. I love that you have a shelf dedicated to your grandpa. That is actually really sweet. I really dig your setup for your collection. This was such a nice video. Plus I love anytime we can get a long and unscripted video. They are always so fun to watch! Thanks for this Kylie! Also congrats on 21k subs! You hit 20k subs not too long ago and now you're at 21k. So happy for you on hitting another milestone!
@@HauntedHippie You absolutely should. With the amount of research and work you do for your deep dive videos, a more unscripted fun video is always enjoyable to watch. Watch Vacancy!! It's one of my top 5 favorite horror movies of all-time. Instead of home invasion, it's motel invasion. Also, my college professor directed one of the trailers 😁
Awesome movie collection. I did however notice that you have Orphan: First Kill, but not the 2009 original film. You should still add Halloween 3, 6, H20, Rob Zombie Halloween 2 and Halloween Ends. I also hope you find Freddy vs. Jason, Benny Loves You, Leprechaun Returns, Friday the 13th Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan, A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010, Bride of Chucky, Curse of Chucky, Child's Play remake, M3gan, Better Watch Out, Chucky Seasons 1 and 2 and Living With Chucky. I'm also hoping to give some of my horror movies the 4K Ultra HD upgrade such as the Chucky movies (the first three films have already been released on 4K, but Bride, Seed, Curse and Cult of Chucky are getting rereleased on 4K in July), Halloween 1-8, and Scream 1 and 2 (pretty soon 3 and 4).
The struggle is real when it comes to the ever-changing organization of the physical media collection. Sub-genres,director's/actor's body of work for days. i even have a "worst of the worst" section for infamously bad flicks.
The problem with Netflix and the rest of them is that they don't have all the classic movies and the wifi can go down. With physical media, it's easy access.
I’m actually going back to buy 80’s slashers, especially the ones that aren’t the main popular ones (like Halloween, Friday The 13th, and Elm Street), which I have Slumber Party Massacre and Sleepaway Camp, but I’m also going for House On Sorority Row (which I plan to get the remake as well, since it’s ok; the original has a pretty fun ending as well) and April Fool’s Day. I got The Faculty last year (which I recommend, especially since Williamson rewrote the script to it and it inspired an amazing horror game called ObsCure in 2004, which I’d love a film to be made of it), and I recently got Black Rat and One Missed Call: Final, which both are Japanese films (my favorite film of all time is Battle Royale, and it’s Japanese as well, even inspired Kill Bill and featured an actress from it (she played GoGo Yubari). Black Rat to me is special, because it’s the only Asian film I know of that is done like a slasher (most are ghost films) and OMC: Final is the last in the trilogy (which isn’t amazing), but I love that not only does it have a big cast, they all are dealing with the curse, which now lets you send it to other people to not let yourself end up dying; it’s very 80’s b horror, which I like. There is a K-Pop horror film that is amazing as well (I’ve been into K-Pop since November 2009) called White: Melody Of Death, which is about a haunted song, but actually has truly horrifying scenes about the dark side of the industry (which I can confirm from my knowledge of the industry to be true) and it’s not super confusing like many Asian horror films and has a great twist ending as well; Only if I could find it on dvd, but it is on Tubi if you want to give it a try, which the other two films are on there too, I think). Oh, but one movie, out of all the ones I stated I think Bodies Bodies Bodies would be a good addition (along with The Faculty, Sleepaway Camp, Slumber Party Massacre, and House On Sorority Row/Sorority Row Remake) would be up your alley. Not sure if you’d be into the Japanese films I recommend though.
I highly recommend for your taste. The Devil's Candy, Suspiria(remake),Lords of salem,Mother!, killing of the sacred deer,Let the right one in,Trick'r Treat,Sweeney Todd,Sinister
Stir of Echoes is amazing!!!! Definitely watch that soon. Btw, you have some really freakin awesome movies here. I just subbed to you, so I'm seeing everything you have for the first time. Look forward to many more vids from you. Bye lol

Hello from Australia just come across your channel today. You have an amazing collection and great taste in movies. I'm happy to see someone so passionate about collecting physical media. I have a huge collection like yourself but my tastes are all over the place.
Nice collection. Some recommendations that I didn't see. May, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, Excision, The Eyes of my Mother, Bitter Feast, The Orphanage, The Devil's Backbone. Gratitude.
I have the Same Tombstone special edition ( my father’s favorite western) and have the same Casablanca haha. Sometimes when the DVD edition is so nice, I just replace the DVD disk with the Blu-ray. Keep collecting 👍🏼
Th!s Collection is thiccc it's dope 2 see how much your collection has grown so many good watches. I can't wait when you see The Crow for the first time so curious on hearing your thoughts on it.
Oooo nice collection. I recently put a few 80s horror bits up in my man cave. Some big A1 posters from The Lost Boys, Fright Night, Gremlins etc. And got some Ghostbusters and Gremlins collectibles. I'm looking forward to adding more. 😀
People who love and have physical collections are my kind of people. I will never understand people saying they are fan of or really loooove whatever, without having physical stuff to back it up. I have a comics collection of some 54 000. Dvd/bluray close to 3000 (did a fast count)....lots of anime too. Games.....like 2000. Cd's.....some 3200 (did a fast count actually) Books (the ones without pics) like 1300. Physical forever! 👍
My favourite film that I own (its not a horror film but I do like horror) is Back to the Future. Its the 4k steelbook with the Japanese artwork and a poster inside. I brought it from ebay earlier in the year.
Love the collection! Yours actually mirrors mine so close aside from a few films I haven't seen. From the Indiana Jones Bonus Feature disc, The snap style DVD boxes and I even have a few of those DVD display boxes I got when a Hollywood Video I lived by sadly went out of business.. Oh and my Grandfather was also the reason I have such a love for horror and just film in general. I still have most his old copies of movies we would watch together as well.
That Tombstone is a legit collectors item. It's extended and this version didn't make the jump to Bluray currently. Really good get! Maybe it will make it to 4k someday
You are a legend for owning the SAW franchise the best horror franchise in my opinion. The Sadness def watch it on a late Saturday night it sets the mood. You own dead silence and 30 days of night wow so impressed. I respect that your collection has oldies and modern covering various eras. Def watch the vacancy those chunky multi movie packets look so effin cool.
Thanks for sharing! I recently posted a video of my entire collection of over 1500 movies and it was fun to record. I was able to find some duplicates in my collection and share my collection with the world. Keep collecting!
Enjoyed the show. I’m also a person that does not like stickers on my disks. But I use a product called Goo Gone with a citrus smell. Just spray it on let it sit and it softens up the clue. My collection got so big I had to put most in slim cases. Blu-Ray and DVD. Yes I cut the back off but I have it printed A-Z on a spreadsheet. Nice to see yours. 👍

Omg!?? You’re so pretty 😭😭 Anyways im glad you own Others! I feel like that movie gets glanced over. I personally pre-ordered a 4K Criterion copy!
Hello from Australia just come across your channel today. You have an amazing collection and great taste in movies. I'm happy to see someone so passionate about collecting physical media. I have a huge collection like yourself but my tastes are all over the place.
Also that signed Love Witch is amazing! Fantastic film!

I’ve been watching a lot of these videos recently awesome collection.I’ve been collecting DVD & Blu-ray since 1999 I have over 1200 and 300 vhs
I hate Digital and Streaming. It’s for lazy people who don’t value anything.
I actually have the same shelves that you have. My mom bought me them for Christmas a few years ago.
Nice collection. Some recommendations that I didn't see. May, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, Excision, The Eyes of my Mother, Bitter Feast, The Orphanage, The Devil's Backbone. Gratitude.
I AM just a stinky lil guy 🥹
DVDs are super magical
I have the Same Tombstone special edition ( my father’s favorite western) and have the same Casablanca haha. Sometimes when the DVD edition is so nice, I just replace the DVD disk with the Blu-ray. Keep collecting 👍🏼
Th!s Collection is thiccc it's dope 2 see how much your collection has grown so many good watches. I can't wait when you see The Crow for the first time so curious on hearing your thoughts on it.

Love most the movies shown, my collection is more 1930s to 1980s Horror, a lot of classic b&w.

Feels good, doesn't it?
Like building your own Network.
Cool collection , as for Disney I have 57 movies on Bluray plus Toy Story VHS signed by Buzz & Woody
30 Days of night is indeed an underrated movie, those vampires were terrifying...I mean those teeth!!!
I thought I was the only one who had DVDs and Blu Rays I had not seen yet.
100% agree on The Fourth Kind. Heard great things but never been able to get into it.
Also nice collection, I’m about +1,200 deep in blurays alone lol
That Tombstone special edition blew me away🤯
Oooo nice collection. I recently put a few 80s horror bits up in my man cave. Some big A1 posters from The Lost Boys, Fright Night, Gremlins etc. And got some Ghostbusters and Gremlins collectibles. I'm looking forward to adding more. 😀
THE PRODIGY IS A WILD MOVIE!!!!
The Visit as well
People who love and have physical collections are my kind of people. I will never understand people saying they are fan of or really loooove whatever, without having physical stuff to back it up.
I have a comics collection of some 54 000.
Dvd/bluray close to 3000 (did a fast count)....lots of anime too.
Games.....like 2000.
Cd's.....some 3200 (did a fast count actually)
Books (the ones without pics) like 1300.
Physical forever! 👍
That Tombstone copy is super dope! Aubrey Plaza would totally play you in a movie lol
My favourite film that I own (its not a horror film but I do like horror) is Back to the Future. Its the 4k steelbook with the Japanese artwork and a poster inside. I brought it from ebay earlier in the year.
Jeepers creepers, stir of echoes, and vacancy are all good in my opinion. Worth watching for sure
Ahh that’s so sweet!
That Tombstone is a legit collectors item. It's extended and this version didn't make the jump to Bluray currently. Really good get! Maybe it will make it to 4k someday
Oo didn’t know!
I have a ridiculous amount of copies for the Halloween franchise. Vhs tapes, dvds, blu rays, 4ks...its overflowing 😂
Loved that you love back to the future and tombstone! You gotta respect someone who loves and respect classics
What's your top 10 favorite movies of all time
Enjoyed the show.
thanks for the tip!
Dead snow is actually Norwegian. A very good movie
Yeah, gotta work on those CLASSICS,😢 THE EXORCIST, CARRIE, THE SHINING, THE OMEN, CHRISTINE, THE FLY, HELLRAISER, etc 👻
I have Carrie and the shining! Dying to own the others though!
Awesome, awesome! Physical media is so important :)
Blood Fest is much better than it was given credit for, considering the budget. Personally liked it a lot. Thanks for the collection tour.
