Considering the price of a nice book today, this review is extremely helpful. I admit to buying books because I admired one pattern, only to find the rest of the patterns didn't work for me at all. Your comments clearly indicate the merits of Seasonless, so anyone who considers buying it will be well informed and not be wasting their money.
For those of us on a budget, any book like this is an investment so......'yes please' to book reviews in the future . As for this book, I'm really pleased to see Karen Templer sharing her expertise in another format - I used to follow her Fringe Association blog back in the day. She knows what she's talking about !
Thank you for this video! Exactly what I need!! You can give your swatches to your children - my daughter always finds creative ways to use it. From doll blanket to treasure maps (the ones that roll).
Thanks for the review. I'm always curious about new books. In a similar vein I have used Anne Budd's sweater building books with a trusted stitch dictionary for inspiration
Great review! As a Canadian living in Tokyo, I REALLY appreciate the fact that it has both English and Japanese. I am assuming the book also has the patterns written in both English and Japanese? I can’t seem to wrap my head around Japanese patterns but perhaps this book would be a great resource in getting comfortable with Japanese patterns. 😊Thank you so much for sharing..this book is definitely on my wishlist now , ありがとう😊
Yes! Every piece of text in the book is in both languages. I’d highly recommend it if you’re learning Japanese and just want the security of the English pattern there too 😄
Hi Michelle! TY for this detailed review of Seasonless, it's very helpful. $28 USD for 16 patterns is a great deal. Having a DK/Worsted preference, I might only need to modify the length. Stay well.
I just moved heaven and earth to get my hands on 2 older Sandnes Garn magazines (shipping cost more than the magazines 😬). I love books, but mostly maybe want a couple of patterns out of it, so it feels a little wasteful 🫣 that said, the green vest is calling my name like a siren in a mist 😃
I feel like people aren’t looking past the ‘simple knit’ aspect because they’re over saturated with Petite Knit-style patterns. Rebecca Clow has these types of patterns individually too where she provides lots of options for customization off a base pattern. Also Karen kind of removed herself from the market for a bit and the amirisu team hadn’t done a bunch of press for it I feel? I dunno, definitely a bit of a stealth release.
@@easilyknitfluenced I don't think I would have said that per se but maybe you are right. I see a lot of amirisu on my Insta but that might not be the experience of the majority.

Glad it was helpful! I think you can’t go wrong with the basics and she’s really don’t a good job of blending basics with modifications

Awesome! I’ll definitely work more reviews into my video planning
Appreciate a good book review! Budget conscious and I love being able to request knitting pattern books from my local library. :=)
That's a great idea!

You are so welcome! I’ve thought about giving the swatches to my kids but so far…minimal interest 😂
I love this review style. I would love more.
Awesome, thank you!

Great tip! I’ll check her out
Interesting book. So cool. Also that color sweater looks so good on you
Oh thank you!
Excellent review. Thank you!
My pleasure!
great review! Thanks for suggesting the book I purchased it and love it!
Hope you enjoy it!
Great preview. Many thanks. Books can be very expensive (the Aussie dollar 🙄) so being able to see what’s inside is WONDERFUL.
😂 that little mental flinch as you adjust for AUD. Yep.
Thanks for watching! I’m surprised I haven’t seen more people talking about it!

I hadn't seen this book and I watch A LOT of RUclips knitting videos. Great rundown on the book; definitely keeping this one on my radar.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the review. I do like seeing others views of books before I consider buying them. 💚
You are so welcome!
Had not heard of this book - seems really practical yet room for individual creativity. Thanks!
You’re so welcome ✌🏻
Loved this! Thank you, Michelle 👏🏼🥰

You are so welcome!
Excellent review!
Thank you!
That book is great! I need the cardigan with mosaic in my life 😅
Right?! I love that one with the shawl collat
@@easilyknitfluenced Totally!!, looking for the book now.

That’s one of the reasons I haven’t bought any Sandnes Garn booklets - there’s too much in there I would never use sadly
New subscriber here. Love your book review
Yay! Thank you!
Interesting book review. Love your sweater looks great on you but you forgot to say what you were wearing.
Sorry! This is the Stockholm sweater by Petiteknit 😄

Yes, that could be why. I also think amirisu isn’t as well known or well distributed, at least in the US

I really like the Design Matrix concept. 🧶
It’s so smart. And appeals to my desire for organization 🤣
