In XC3, soundtrack in boss fights changes based on how much HP bos has. That's the reason why the track is structured the way it is - during the battle, it loops different sections. It's actually something else to experience it in the game, although there are things that can break the original idea.
it was honestly a blessing that the official ost uploads structured the songs this way. They could have just made different phases into different songs and ruined the effect completely
Why does it need to be disabled? You can just not do Chain Attacks. The game becomes pretty easy once you get good classes that Chain Attacks aren't really necessary for main story bosses. 😅
Always great to see people react to this song. I truely can wait for you to continue your journey Saturn. You are about to realize; if you haven't already, but this series is going to mean everything to you. EVERYTHING. And always remember this game's OST LOST at the game awards.
Saturn, I said it before, but I say it again. I love seeing your genuine happiness and excitement experiencing the Xenoblade music and games. I can never hear and play those things for the first time again, but through you I am able to relive those awesome moments + seeing a new perspective on things. Thank you for that!
I don't know why, but when I first played XC3 and heard this choir at the start of the song, I thought they were singing "DONKEY KONG". Can't explain it. Loving your Xenoblade content! XC3 has some absolutely fantastic tracks (no surprise there) and the story is absolutely amazing.
The 'Proud Members of Moebius' are extremely egotistical. In the first phase, you can catch on to this trait with 2:25 and 2:44 which are [possible] equivalents to them mocking the main protagonists for challenging them and the norms they have established in Aionios. SPOILERS BELOW 3:25 As the game progresses, Moebius gradually take the main protagonists seriously via organising head hunters tasked with felling Ouroboros, as well as undermining the party via emotional or mental warfare. 4:44 is the point at which Moebius realise that they at risk of losing the Endless Now, and their dominance over Aionios continues to wane so long as they allow Ouroboros to thrive. Moebius are rarely seen in pairs, but in the presence of Ouroboros, they are forced into using their own Interlinking abilities to have a chance at defeating the party as seen in later segments of the game when they are unable to combat Ouroboros individually.
the cool part about the upcoming Xenoblade ost is that Mitsuda wanted to not join in and leave it in the hands of the other composers. Now what it would mean in practice nobody really knows, but with the expectations the other composers will place on themselves will surely not leave us with disappointing results
Don’t worry, there is even more Moebius music. There’s another more epic climax to the song that I like more, this ending is the sad, more empathetic version
like you I came a little bit late for the party. I finished xeno 2 and torna a couple of mounths ago, and I gave myself a time playing other games to prepare myself to another monolith master piece, xenoblade 3. I will start probably next week while I'm watching you playing xeno 2.
I actually played Xenogears when it originally released so I would love to go back and check out the music again as it has been many many years since I heard it.
The behind the scenes state that the drummer broke 3 sticks doing this song.
Oh that’s awesome, I didn’t know that
Is this from the liner notes or somewhere else?
I bet with mechanical rhythm as well they broke more
1:53 the Moebius symbol is the infinity symbol. That's why it flow in both ears. :)
„This gotta be like the final boss theme or something.“

Technically he is right, but for the first chapter.
@@michaelgum97 Isn't it technically the final boss of every chapter except 4 and 7?

I mean that the end of chapter 1 is the first time you hear it.

The ability to disable Chain Attack music was sorely needed and never provided.

And, I mean, God of War Ragnarok's soundtrack is great too, but come on, just listen to this!
Can't wait to see you play Xeno 3!
This theme is definitely one of the most impressive Xenoblade tracks imo
Soooooooo goood

I love how everyone reacts surprised once they hear the first few notes 🤣
How this game didnt win soundtrack of the year will always be a travesty, everyone knows the award was stolen from them
Isn't there always some sort of rigging in the game awards? Or is it just me 🤔
@@GrandSmasher124 It's a popularity contest. Also the award is reared toward western or western-ish games.
@@MoonMillenniummon hmmm 🤔interesting... thanks for the confirmation.
@@GrandSmasher124 It's not a confirmation tho. I'm not someone who works at goty. It's a data-based assumption.

Oh I didn't notice this channel, so let's do it now.
Excited to see the playthrough of this game...
And I will say it again, we were robbed of this being the game soundtrack of the year in 2022!

Xenoblade 3's dynamic battle themes were such a great improvement to the Xenoblade series' ost that I didn't know I needed.
Glad you finally reacted to this!
At last, it's here!!
That song is incredible.
When this plays you know there is a 50 percent chance you're about to get your ass handed to you
Would you believe if I told you that the first time you hear this song is in what amounts to a TUTORIAL boss fight?
