I recorded this one before patch 1, but I think it should be accurate still! The first question has 2 correct answers, the apple and onion one. I really loved this scene :)
His greatest flaw is to think that the world would be better if he doesn't exist 😢 It's really heartbreaking to see how insecure Gale really is behind his facade. Everyone sees him as the prodigy of magic and not just who he truly is, including Mystra (to the point he started going by the title Gale of Waterdeep and not Dekarios, which show that even Gale sees himself worthy for his magic rather than who he is) He was defined by what he wields, his status and how the world sees him as until it left him to his own hubris. He even says at one point that being told to go on a suicide bombing mission gives him a purpose in his life.
Funnily on my first ever time playing this scene, I got the bug where I couldn't see the options and the game picks up number 1 option on the food question.... I was yelling "WHAT DID I SAY?!" on my computer 😅
@@MUNMOMUU Noooo lol that's the worst. I also hate when it accidentally clicks through un-repeatable dialogue. My reload save number is equal to the GDP of like, Sweden.
Wow thank you for this!!!! Always curious to see what are other reactions, so glad I could find this clip :) I picked the onion answer immediately bc its a Shrek reference to me, imagine my delight when Gale agreed
If the dryad is red, that means she's actually Orin in disguise. But yeah, Shadowheart should have been there if you asked her to come. // editing my coment after discussing it with more people - apparenly the redness is a bug! I only encountered the redness with Dryad when she was Orin
Make sure you have seen her twice before going to the dryad, after you have seen her twice, she stops turning into random NPC's. I'm not completely sure how it triggers still, but talking around the Rivington area usually helps, I have seen her as the blacksmith, a flaming fist soldier and as a dying man on the beach.

I was curious about the wrong answers, but it was also painful to watch Gale's reactions to them. D: Lol he was happy to be an onion, though.

Gale looking at the camera guy at the end of it all... "Did you see this?" 6:02
Mine ended up being Orin
Damn I didn’t know it wasn’t always Orin
This entire scene bugged out for me the Druid was red with yellow tattoos and Shadowheart was invisible for the entire scene.

How do you make sure it's not Orin? In my two games she was Orin in disguise. Random chances?

@@MUNMOMUU Ah, I see. Thank you. It kept seeing the dryad and the blacksmith first. Poor things lol.
@MUNMOMUU She's actually random that's pretty awesome.
I chose to do the Dryad with shadowheart just to try to make Gale jealous; he did not care
I did this with Astarion
