Thank you, Adam for showing us the Legend working in tandem with the new Accupoint Pin-pointer. What a brilliant combination! I hope you and your family, and all of your subscribers have a very happy Christmas and a safe and enjoyable start to 2024. Cheers!
Thanks for the video Adam, Merry Christmas and Happy Yule too you and your family. The Crotal bell peice is a great little find and some coins great little hunt in the woods!!😎🐓🐓🐓🐓🇬🇧
Hola amigo, te felicito por tu video y ese lindo lugar para detectar, excelentes equipos, saludos cordiales desde chile para usted compañero 🙋♂️🇨🇱⛏️💍🗝️💪
I attach different holsters to the nokta leg holster. my pointers slips through the nokta one as they are designed for the pulsedive. but it still serves a purpose as I can tuck my cleaning rag into it👍
Well that explains why my Legend stopped connecting to the headphones, I guess I need to upgrade the software. After pairing the Accupoint the detector got angry and wouldn't connect... Looking forward to your thoughts on the Accupoint. Off the top of my head after three hunts with it, the 9 levels of sensitivity are excessive and unnecessary. 4 would have been easier, like the Pulsedive.
Based on one hunt I enjoyed using it. I'd probably keep the sensitivity up full like I did with the Pulsedive...but having more levels (smaller increments) does mean you can scale it back if you start getting interference. Giving you just enough fine adjustment without shedding too much depth.
@@DTEKTSUSSEX I thought that too, but there's so little difference between the settings, I keep it at 5 now. Less than a quarter of an inch between levels in an air test, and 7-9 were pretty much the same. Still a great pinpointer, not complaining at all.
Hi Adam. I'm new to your channel and new to metal detecting! I have a simplex plus. What settings would you recommend for a ploughed field with sticky soil and lots of iron targets. I have found a silver sixpence there and i find lots of tiny bits of copper, foil and random metal. I feel that if I am finding that stuff i hopefully wouldnt miss the important things. But any tips are most welcome! Thanks😊
Hi! Firstly, welcome to the channel and to this brilliant hobby! Sounds like you've got a promising field on your hands there. So, for the Simplex+ I would suggest: Field Mode No discrimination...keep everything open. Full sensitivity or one bar off if you're getting interference/chatter Take your iron volume down to 1 bar. This will allow you to still hear the iron but it will be quieter than the better tones so you can pick them out more. Do an auto ground balance before you start and you should be good to go from there! Keep your swings low and slow with those settings to get full depth and separation. Feel free to ask any questions either here or on the Facebook page. I have a whole playlist on the Simplex+ if you'd like to get to know it better 😊 Best wishes, happy hunting and have a fantastic New Year! 😃👍
It'd be great if you could just keep the pin pointer audio connected to your headphones for the videos? For those of us wearing headphones watching, it really does get irritating after a while. Do like your content in fairness 👍🏻

What is this blue cable protector that you have around your detector cables?
Hi,
It's called a Snake Skinz. They provide a little protection but they mostly just look cool 😅
I got mine from LP Metal Detecting online 👍
Thank you for the response!
where did you get your Nokta hoodie?
I was issued it by Nokta as a NOMAD. It's not available to the public 👍
@@DTEKTSUSSEX ah..ok, thanks. 👍
