I've seen other videos where people are very careful about pinpointing and being very deliberate when they dig. You seem to be able to just eyeball it when you get a hit. Is that something you were always able to do, or something that came with a ton of practice and experience?
It's kind of something I've learned better with practice but it's also a method I use every time. What I do is basically back the coil away from the target (while continuing to swing over it) until it stops beeping. As soon as it stops you know it's pretty much right in front of the coil. Something you can try out a few times, once you get it honed in you rarely miss your signal. 👍

No body is going to attack you, you're a fairly big dude plus you have that 7 inch dragon slayer digger on you. Only an idiot would try that. I actually carry my digger inverted with the blade pointing towards my arm pit so you can't see it when I'm holding it. Someone had better want my stuff pretty bad to want to attack me. I know what you mean though, I do lose track of who is wondering around me sometimes.

Should I get SP 24 coil or just buy the lite with narrow coil for few $$ more ??
I love my sp24 and stock coil.
It might be worth it to spend the extra $90 and get Lite if you want a secondary detector but the SP24 always treated me good too. 👍
