I think I would have hit the little narrow strip between the road and the sidewalk. And in the playground would hit all around and under the benches where mom and or dad would sit while the kids play.
Personally, I don't have a metal detector but I do have a pinpointer. I am on my knees for a couple hours every now and than. I find some good stuff sometimes. I go to the beach and parks.

Beaches 🏖 here only way to hunt is with 650 trail bike with gear on it hunt around it 50m radius way to hot 🔥 in summer here at night far better easy on machines as well ya get better reading of ground.😂😂 and no sun burn. Got to get 2 cut out.
I was out this weekend on the beach and in the salt water my Legend destroyed the Equinox 900 with factory settings as both are updated with new software Equinox regardless what i tried to do was falsing on me anyone have any option settings willing to try for sure

Cell phone may be emf detector when you bend down closer to coil
