I've always wanted to metal detect but I don't know what metal detector to buy or the best brand . My dad used to metal detect but he would use the cheapest ones he could find. Thank you guys. ❤😊
Hey Brian, there is no best brand, they all have entry-level to high end detectors. It depends on what you're willing to spend. They all detect metal, but some are better at discriminating, and depth then others. Don't buy off Amazon or a retail store. If you are looking for a reputable dealer that can help you and answer any questions, I can put you in touch with who we deal with.

Did you ever have the 1 dollar gold coin looked at? After 1854 the feather headdress was minted not a liberty head, And on the back all say [1 with dollar below] ?
It is truly staggering to me the amount of artifacts that can be found around the planet from different time periods that to me just proves to me how many people there have been way before we were ever thought of.. Due to primitive living, wars, disasters.. I live in Oklahoma and the amount of arrowheads that are and can be found just blows my mind. You get this sight picture of sparse groups of Natives from centuries ago yet coins, buttons, bullets in the states to almost no matter where in Europe you can find relics from the wars in places that looks as if no one has ever been there. After using LIDAR in South America they have found full cities with roads.. I live in Oklahoma now and have a creek behind my house, and you could go and walk that creek and the banks close to it and find arrow heads. Lots of them. Almost any creek or river you can find knapped arrowheads. This property has been in my family for decades and still can find these artifacts right here less than 40ft behind my house.. Its just wild to me. Out on land that is nowhere near a town and they are all over the place. I'm not a hunter but anyone ever asked to go hunt then I let them. Amazing the different shapes and styles and the amounts. Pretty cool.

I've always wanted to metal detect but I don't know what metal detector to buy or the best brand . My dad used to metal detect but he would use the cheapest ones he could find. Thank you guys. ❤😊
Hey Brian, there is no best brand, they all have entry-level to high end detectors. It depends on what you're willing to spend. They all detect metal, but some are better at discriminating, and depth then others. Don't buy off Amazon or a retail store. If you are looking for a reputable dealer that can help you and answer any questions, I can put you in touch with who we deal with.

Did you ever have the 1 dollar gold coin looked at? After 1854 the feather headdress was minted not a liberty head, And on the back all say [1 with dollar below] ?

It is truly staggering to me the amount of artifacts that can be found around the planet from different time periods that to me just proves to me how many people there have been way before we were ever thought of.. Due to primitive living, wars, disasters.. I live in Oklahoma and the amount of arrowheads that are and can be found just blows my mind. You get this sight picture of sparse groups of Natives from centuries ago yet coins, buttons, bullets in the states to almost no matter where in Europe you can find relics from the wars in places that looks as if no one has ever been there. After using LIDAR in South America they have found full cities with roads.. I live in Oklahoma now and have a creek behind my house, and you could go and walk that creek and the banks close to it and find arrow heads. Lots of them. Almost any creek or river you can find knapped arrowheads. This property has been in my family for decades and still can find these artifacts right here less than 40ft behind my house.. Its just wild to me. Out on land that is nowhere near a town and they are all over the place. I'm not a hunter but anyone ever asked to go hunt then I let them. Amazing the different shapes and styles and the amounts. Pretty cool.

That was a permission, part of the property was detected before but not the area we were at.

It was possibly a water stop for early settlers and civil war soldiers
