Did my 06 Silverado RCSB 2WD with the center console as well. I LOVE the center console. Stock 5.3 with springs and pushrods changeout only, T66, 4L80E, 14 bolt rear diff. Was my daily ripper for 10+ years. Driving something else now but still have it. Fun truck... writes black crayon marks all over the road. Your build will bring back a lot of good memories... keeping a close eye on this one.

Dude I put my big block 402 on an engine stand from harbor freight and I have never been so scared in my life haha STOKED for the race truck build especially with your style!

I have the same engine stand with a iron 5.3 on it. So much better than a harbor freight stand. I also use the ict billet engine stand plate. Bolts directly to block like a trans would. Instead of the 4 arm deal the engine stand comes with , looks good and makes it so much easier… look forward to the build man. Love your videos

You should do a manual trans with a remote shifter. I’ve seen them with that center console and it looks super clean.

Gotta love that LQ4/80E combo... I have that set up in my 01. Small cam + headers and exhaust. Makes good power, drives well. But, like anything I own... I'll ruin it. Plans are for twin turbos, a bigger cam, and a converter. Have most of the parts, just need to make time.

Upgrades that really make this into something special. Bed-liner bed, random interior upgrades, all of the small details that make it unique.
Cleeter needs to have Motion make you up some ano green valve covers that say ripper on them. This should be awesome can't wait to see how it goes. 🤘

Taylor i have a f350 5.4 work truck and i love the truck it has the utility bed for all my tools to build screen rooms and patio covers. The problem is the 5.4 has about 380,000 miles on it i would love for you to put a Cummins into it that would be a dream!! You do great work thanks man!

Kind of stoked about this cuz give me some ideas for my 2003 GMC Sierra. Not that there's not a lot of other information out there already but I really respect Taylor's work and how he does things. Hell yeah I can't wait to see this thing smoke some tires! Also I was thinking, why don't you just keep the Miata to run klutch kickers next year and build a no prep drag car to run all the weekends that you're not running klutch kickers and then decide which one you like more? And then depending on what you find out you need to build a bigger battery no prep car you build a bigger better drift car. I don't know just my two cents.
