    Thank you SO much Robin for this video. I taught myself how to crochet using numerous video tutorials and have been able to do quite a few different projects. I belong to a few crochet fb groups and have drooled over so many talented crochet artists. I have to say that one of the most popular blanket is the c2c and I have admired them so much. With that being said, for some reason I was totally intimidated by this pattern for some reason. I watched the first part of making this blanket and with your great instructions, I was able to do this blanket NO problem at all. I just finished watching this video in order to finish my blanket. Now that I know how easy it really is, I'll be making many more. Again, thank you so much for your great video's. I hope you make many more!!

    You can also make your blanket a rectangle instead of a square. Once the project is as wide as you'd like it, you continue to chain 6 on one end to increase and only chain 3 (or slip stitch) on the other end to decrease. You continue to increase on the one end until it is as long as you want and then you start decreasing on that end too. At first, it will look strange but it will eventually be a rectangle.

    you made this look so amazingly easy so I tried it and fell in love. It went so quick and easy.
    BUT I would like to make it more of a rectangle than square and I seem to be having a hard time with the directions...I normally do the afghan stitch so this was so out of my comfort zone I am thinking it is just me being too nervous.
    Do you have a video showing how to do it more rectangle? I am so much more a visual person versus reading instructions.

I was foolish. I should have done a scarf. I ask you will the triangle fill out? yikes it seems magical. I have tried to end the increase and unraveled rows simply because it looked wonky. (watching another tutorial only confused me more lol I do not know why I find it difficult to imagine the ending of the triangle lol any suggestions besides putting it aside and doing a smaller project to build my confidence.?

    Okay so I am making an adult size C2C and it is going to be 6 feet long and 5 feet wide, how do I know when I should actually start the decrease? I have been told before that I have to decrease one side and increase the other side, is that right?

    • @FabricFolk
      @FabricFolk  8 лет назад

      +Mary Halberg That is right, and you start decreasing & increasing once you have the desired width

    Hello okay I am working on a afghan that I am gonna have to make rectangle shape to fit in a Semi bed, it needs to be longer then wider, so my ? is I would decrease at the top and increase the bottom right?

    • @FabricFolk

      so basically you need to consistently decrease at the same end, and increase on the other end :0)

    • @FabricFolk
      @FabricFolk  9 лет назад +1

      Yes you decrease when the diagonal width is as big as you want it to get and you want to start downsizing.

    How many balls of the merry go round yarn did you use?

    • @FabricFolk
      @FabricFolk  9 лет назад

      It took 1 ball to do 1 and a half cushion cases so I would say you will def need 2 balls.

    I need help. My friend taught me how to make the corner 2 corner but she toldme to just chair 2 instead of 3. Now, when I attempt to decrease, I am not sure how to go about it because my number is 2 insterad of 3. If you understand what I am asking, please respond. Thank you.

      I'm not 100% sure but I presume if you have been doing chain 2 throughout the first half of your blanket you should continue that for the decreases
