      I made a super king size last year in dark blue and it is amazing so warm and cosey. I did it in one color I chose the variegated yarn to show how it will look in different colors so it can easily be made with just 1 color of yarn too.

    I've NEVER done c2c. I've heard a lot about it, but never done it. I love that it gives texture. I would like to do it in all white. Beautiful. And I love how you encourage me that I WILL be able to do it. xo Sweet. My friend Ingrid Kotze told me about your blankets. I just love it.

      @@AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel Yes Ingrid Kotze is creating great crochet projects but she's only now started to show that to the world, but she's definitely one of your fans and now, so am I. She joins us daily on the live at Yarn Geek's channel (Ginger). That's where I heard her gushing about you, so I had to check you out. Your variegated blanket is beautiful. Right now, I'm just looking for textured blankets because I want to make it in white and this c2c is lovely textured.

    Well, I looked at one other channel trying to explain this concept. I fairly experienced, crocheting (self taught) since early teens, and it just was not clear at all how to do this!! She was flipping it so much do it wasn’t clear how to join the flipped part, didn’t explain well any of the video. Yours is extremely clear. Thanks. Because this is a really neat concept, especially if you you use cake or variegated yarns.
    Thank you! ♥️

    • @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel

      Yes you can! it is soft and squishy. I understand about the sparkly yarns my sister, June can't work with it either she can;t stand the metallic thread woven into it. they do normal yarns too.

    Hi Alison what size of hook u working with thank u mags Reid🌈

    • @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel
      @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel  4 года назад +1

      I used a uk 5mm you can use whatever the wool label says, mags Xxx or change it if you want to. I do it all the time. Sometimes wool feels a little thin and i know my tension is slack so i will go down a size and with thicker yarns I jump around from hook to hook as my tension changes any pattern its even slacker with thicker yarns.
