THIS is why schools need to bring back "Home Economics", and basic cooking skills.
In Scotland we still have Home Economics, you’re amazingly stupid over here if you don’t know how to cook a simple burger or do some of the other things on this show.
Im fkn shook I feel like toddlers could do better than them
I never had that class here in Mexico, but someone can still be considered kinda dumb if they can't cook well enough to survive on their own... that's something I learned at home, and I'm pretty sure parents would be the ones caring about their children's life skills 🤔
A cooking class would have been dope, I honestly don't know why they took it out of schools over here

@@CoolVictor2002 Technically not necessary. If you consult a dietitian or know how to get all the essential nutrients from other sources. Problem is, it becomes much harder. A LOT of vegetarians/vegans THINK they know how to do that and then it becomes a problem... But it is essentially also the reason why people always claim that a vegetarian/vegan diet is healthier. It's not, fries are 100% vegetarian, live off of them and you will die a painful death in a month or so. The point is that vegetarians/vegans have to actually think about what they eat, and THAT is healthy! You know... actually thinking about things? Possibly the healthiest thing you can ever do...

@@user-mm4nd4gp8p Speaking from my personal experience, it is possible, after all, kids are picky eaters. My brother refused to eat any meat and fish and some other animal products since he was around 2-3 years old. Not forced onto by anyone, my entire family eats animal products, and no bad experience or grossing out, he just started to not like those kind of foods (and being a picky child in general.)

Hell, I held a burger tutorial for a bunch of 12 year old kids a couple of weeks back and most of them ended up presenting a fine topped burger worthy of being photographed for a menu display.

@@jamesdale6792 it's not about protecting the food from your hands, obviously you need to wash your hands still. It's about preventing cross contamination between raw food and ready to eat food.

David Huson actually the more I think about it yeah I get it, you’re right. It’s not so much they are worried about it happening but it’s just a safety issue and it’s cheaper to buy gloves than someone potentially get sick on set.. I’m just so enraged by the waste of food

Freshly cut beef in form of steaks and such are 'generally' safe because the center isn't contaminated (wasn't cut into before cooking) and you cook the outside through to some layers.
Ground beef is often mixed with other beef parts and hence can be contaminated through and through.
@@Spaids2 If you ground out cuts of steak its much safer than making beef tartar out of mechanically ground beef, which the machines might be contaminated with bacteria.
