For my own car, I tossed the BS-theater show top cover that also makes oil cap access a hassle. Nice / helpful video, thanks.
Great set of videos. Excellent work and a great reference for others to tackle the mount installations.
I got a set of these mounts off amazon. You are the only one who didn't make me feel uncomfortable about the walkthrough. Your engine is filthy but your helper sounds adorable so it balances out. ty
How's the Amazon motor mounts goin? Are they still holding up cause I'm little skeptical about them.
@@godzwrath surprisingly they are still good. I figured they'd only last a year but I'm happy with the purchase. I'll probably get another set just in case they stop making them.
Great instruction , Techforce 3 On how to change out engine mount
Great instruction , tech 3 on how to change out engine mount
Thanks man helped me with my problem
Are there any torque specs for the mount bolts?
Thanks so much, I did my all 3 amount
You are welcome!
TechForce360 how to open altentor 2011 Altima. 14 mm bolt is to tight, first loose nut, or take the belt off first then loose nut.
omg this is so easy!
I didn't have as many threads. You started an ended with 3? I started and ended with 1.5 hope that 8th of a centimeter doesn't cause issues.
The mount pin started spinning with the nut when I tried to loosen. Not sure what to do now.....
Can a bad transmission mount cause engine vibration
Yes, changing mine this weekend!
Is this the only thing holding the transmission or it is supported from the bottom too? I am trying to create a gap between the motor and tranny so I can replace just the clutch plate. I was thinking to rest the transmission on the subframe. I would appreciate your reply.
I wished you had put a pry bar in the top under that mount and moved it so i could see how much play it has
nice vid
I kept playing with the Jack until I got it lined up meaning I was jacking it up and down while my son was looking from the top to tell me when it was lined up it takes two people.. but I think I jacked it up too much before I took the screws out
I looked at my Nissan 2010 engine in morning and noticed sum rubber broke off one of the mounts causing my car to shake I changed the motor mount recently but not the transmission mount
Hey can't find the other 2 parts of the video. Thanks

Hi.my dear i want a vedio of replacing front mount engine for altima 2012 model ???
My motor mount is stuck it will not come up after I take all the screws out what do I do
Kinta Taylor I have the same problem, what did you do?
kinglalo24 I think how we got in that situation is by putting too much pressure on the transmission before taking the screws out. But what I did was let my son tell me when it lined up while I was underneath lowering the jack.. hope this helps
The same thing happened to me. I hand threaded the nut back on the bolt just so it was a little gap. Then I took a socket and put it on top of the nut and tapped it with my hammer. It dropped a little bit but the nut, jack and the board kept it from dropping.
After replacing everything i noticed a really hard transition between gears now the car runs normal in reverse and barely responds in drive any clue as to what i did wrong??
Did you figure out why?
Awaiting an update on this..what was your issue?
Why did you replace it?
Hey TechForce360, do you know what the rubber wrapped around the center bolt is called? I tore up that thing while taking the transmission mount out so when I put the new one in, there is nothing in the center. I feel like there is a lot of room for play. Is it even possible to get a replacement for that?
Never mind, I had to make my own using liquid urethane, Smooth-On Reoflex if anyone has this issue. That bushing type rubber I tore up was impossible to find.
Anthony Chun how did you make one? I have the same problem
How can i find the screw where the mount seats, my mechanic broke it! The one that cames from the transmission
Marco Chavez I’ve the same issue now, can you tell me how did you found it? And wa it easy to get it?
And what the name of that screw if i want to check it on amazon or ebay?
Is this mount any good for $20? Need one also but checking options first, suggestions?
Great videos btw 👍🏼
20? i wont trust a junk yard part for anything that stabilizes the momentum of a transmission
I replaced the 4 mounts, 3 for the engine and the tranny one, but the really bad ones where just both of the engine ones the ones on the upper passangers side. The bottom engine mount and the tranny one where still in good shape after 130k miles on it.
Tambien me paso! Ya encontraste la problema?
Hello all, I hope that I can get some help. When I try to take the top bolt off of the stud, the rubber mount turns with it. I only turn it a bit because I don’t want to break anything. But if I tighten it back, it tightens and won’t spin. I think the nut, stud, and rubber are moving together. What can I do?
