So I suspect that the reason why the Protoss got so aggressive is because they killed quite a few Overlords and that obviously would supply block the Zerg for some time before they could hatch new Overlords to replace the ones lost so you can make the argument that because they killed these Overlords even with the Vipers themselves still being alive thus still a threat to the Protoss army itself, because the Zerg were supply blocked even if they wanted to replace the loses within that army or even reinforce it with more units they wouldn't be able too so the Protoss player decided that it might have been a good time to try and go for the knockout punch.

hi captain, i was wondering as a zerg, can you put tumor near your base and expand them toward marines when tanks are in position, it should make tank do some friendly fire isn't it?
No, the creep tumor starts at low hp and the marines shoot first, so it dies before any tankshot.
