Russia has nothing and will now be dependent on China, and China will take advantage of them and may even take over Russia's land that it considers its own. They will probably wait until Russia weakens enough. Already, most of the cars on the streets of Russia are Chinese and most of the products come from china. Moreover, Putin himself has also caused the poor condition of the Russian economy with his actions - now it will only be more visible to everyone and will continue to progress.

    There is no better pasta than Asian pasta. The Italians can only learn from the Asians, if they had not already done so in Marco Polo's time. Italy probably permanently lost a large market with these boomerang sanctions. And the Russians will enjoy even more luxurious goods.🤣

      The average russian does not even have a toilet at home or connected water. What are you writing about? Luxury goods? Only Moscow and St. Petersburg are cities that look like a normal civilized world, and the rest of russia still lives in the Middle Ages.
      14 million russians living on the equivalent of USD 180 a month at least. Inflation is about 30% now there.
      According to Rosstat (which presents a false reality anyway - it provides data convenient for the authorities so the information about poverty in Russia probably looks even worse in reality) in the year 2023 over 11.2 percent russian families said they had difficulty buying clothes and paying housing and utility bills. Another 48.7 percent it is not possible to purchase durable goods. Only 36.6 percent families have enough money for this, but they cannot afford a car, an apartment or a summer house. The percentage of families that are able to buy everything they need, including real estate, is, according to official statistics, 3.4%.
      If Putler spends nearly 50% of the state budget on the war and not on its citizens, it will only get worse and worse.

      The American economy was not based solely on war production, and the Russian economy is based on this. Germany during World War II also had a high GDP during the war, because it mainly produced weapons, and when the war ended, everything collapsed. The Russians rely on their oil deposits, but they do not have the appropriate technology, they misuse their sources, so they will not last long, and the quality of their oil is not high. And Russia without its resources and with a collapsing economy is a Russia of little importance in the world.

    If you believe the hype that comes of Russia . But if you know anything about economics you realise that Russia is heading for serious Stagflation. You only have to look at the collapse of the Ruble as a currency . The lack of inward investment. The inability to raise capital . The rapid rise of the countries deficit . And worst still the lack of workers,a shortfall of over 2 million and rising as more and more are killed on the battlefield.

  • @katrinapaton5283
    @katrinapaton5283 Месяц назад

    So basically, Putin is burning through foreign currency reserves in order to pour billions of rubles into the Russian economy and has already burnt through half of those reserves. Meanwhile, massive tax hikes on Russia's oil and gas industry, while they may be bringing in more tax in the same way hyper-inflation at around 20% is bringing in more tax, is also taking away money that is needed to reinvest in further expansion in the industry. While the military industries are booming, they are also paying better wages than the civilian manufacturers can afford meaning a shortage of workers and hence increased prices for consumer goods which further feeds inflation.Sure, Russian government figure can point at the money nicely squirreled away in Chinese banks but at the same time they appear to fail to realise this is playing right into Chinese hands and swinging the balance of power between the two allies even further in China's direction. Even if the war stops today it will take years for the Russian economy to recover and meanwhile Russia's supporters desperately try to tell us it's fine, nothing to see here. It's my Russian friends I feel sorry for, this is not their war and yet they are the ones paying for it.

    Germany was living on borrowed time thinking cheap Russian nat gas could save their chemicals and energy grids. They looked the other way when Russia invaded Crimea etc. So the reckoning is happening. Now Germany needs to wean themselves off of sending BMW's to China. The government listens to business more than it should and makes bad decisions as a result.
