Quick tip everyone, all powera switch controller face plates are interchangeable. So if you want to put a wired controller design on a rechargeable controller, you can!
Glad I watched this. I had no idea that some of the designs were an updated model. I appreciate the video. One thing though, this video would be a lot easier to watch if you weren’t shaking the controller so much as you talked.
Really appreciate this feedback. I move my hands so much when I talk and I'm not always aware of it. I'll keep this in mind with future vids. Thanks for watching!
Would love to snag one of these .... Got the MeatBoy & TomTanook versions - incredible!! MeatBoy was the AA batt kind, which is fine with a nice squad of Rayovacs or such, but with the TomTanook having its own rechargeable battery felt so much better & lighter ~~ Perhaps some Metroid Prime ones comin out soon ^-^
today got one with Link and Triforce for BOTW, so nice artwork, and mapping ++ test on Streets of Rage 4 with co-op friend on dualshock )) FUN FUN FUN 💥
Question here I opened up my power a enhanced wireless controller. What the heck are those metal things in the handles? Those are the rumbles right? I coulda sworn my controller can rumble and it's like an after thought for a gamer like me but when I start to realize that it's not rumbling, I freak out and look everywhere for a solution which I can't find anywhere. I have the Gold Zelda controller with a silhouette of OoT Link riding Epona while holding the master sword. It's wireless, has a charge port between the shoulder buttons. Saying that because I keep seeing videos of controllers that use crummy batteries instead.
I wanted this controller style but the ran out so I got a different color one it's so awesome this controller should save my switch lite from joy con drift now I'm able to play zelda skyward sword hd and mario odyssey alot more comfortable now I had my switch oute for 2 years and I been scared of playing it as much as my ps4 with this controller no need to fear joy con drift and it fits so comfortably in my hands better then the switch lite itself I love this controller so much to bad it won't blu tooth to ps4
This video was helpful as i was looking for a wireless controller that is able to wake up my Switch because as much as i do love my 8bitdo controllers instead it just sucks that every time i want to play on my Switch that i have to get up and turn the system on and then go back to start playing my game and also for myself rumble is a thing i never really liked especially for the games that i play (Also every game shop in my location doesn't have Switch pro controllers for some messed up reason).
Unfortunately, no. None of PowerA’s Switch controllers feature NFC support for amiibo. I’ve reviewed a couple of MOBAPAD’s new Switch controllers and come away really impressed. Even their budget controller features HD rumble and you get amiibo support as well. Here’s a reel I just put up. Hope this helps! instagram.com/p/CtFh9BRsf4B/
My right joy con it's ZR button has stopped working I was thinking about buying a new joy con controller but I saw this cheaper controller is it worth the money? And for how long does it work?
Internal batteries are just another failure point idk if people just don't consider this or what (yes you can maybe replace the internal battery but then you gotta mess with Chinese crap nvm the fact some people don't have the skill to open up a controller to do that in the first place whereas a controller with AAs will last longer simply because it's one less failure point (rechargeable AAs are a thing and last years)
These controllers are worse than that. If you leave them off charge for a while the battery gets too low and won't charge any more. Two in a row for me now. They replaced on warranty and the secinf failed as well. No warning that the pack is getting low, no shitdown to prevent an overly low battery.
I got stuck drift on my power a wired controller and all you have to do is put alcohol in the sticks and rub for 10 minutes. And don’t be the funny guy and pour beer in your controller
Is that the one with the little yellow dots on the left side? That was for the Pokemon 25th anniversary celebration and yeah, I don't think they're making that one anymore. I just checked some listings on Ebay and saw some going for over $100
@Darragh McMullen Easiest thing is replacing it like you said if it does anything that you think is not normal that you dont like within return window just return and replace will hurt you more later if you ignore it
Wow! Do I ever regret buying this f*cking thing. you would think PowerA controllers should be expected to work the same way Switch Pro controllers do. but these things don't work with steam or any other program for that matter--they simply aren't recognized. what a mess. waste of $60
You would think idiots would know Nintendo restricts access to everything they license as well as forces said controller manufacturers to remove certain features to not compete directly with their hardware to force consumers to only buy their products for the whole feature experience Nintendo are literally the ones behind those choices you are complaining about blame them instead
@@bamban_garcia5562 If your controller isn't an equivalent, then don't advertise it as one and price it the same. And even then, PowerA makes controllers for other consoles, no one forced them to make a switch controller--that's a false choice

It’s definitely one of my favourite boxes they have done. They always have such cool designs.
Thanks for the video, I was looking at picking one of these up for my nephew for Christmas.

Nice! Yeah the rechargeable ones were a big improvement over the battery powered ones for me
We dig the magnetic flap. Wish we all had one.
Would be very handy for sanitary purposes 👍

So technically, you're saying Walmart scammed me in selling this to me for 70$? Damn, I didn't knew I could have got it for cheaper!

Mine too. Two of them in a row. If you leave them off charge for a while the battery gets too low and won't take a charge anymore.

Does this develop stick drift?
And is it compatible with a tablet
Yes it develops drift
I got it for $25 at B Buy 😮
That's a pretty good deal!
Great video
Thanks so much!
Probably a easy answer but is this compatable with amiibo’s ?

Do they make a hard case for these. Can’t turn controller off to avoid accidental button activation
My right joy con it's ZR button has stopped working I was thinking about buying a new joy con controller but I saw this cheaper controller is it worth the money? And for how long does it work?
Just buy a ZR ribbon cable on eBay for $4 and fix it
I got one a while ago at GameStop. It stopped working after about 3 years or more.
Is the controller still working does it have any drift issues. I was thinking of buying one
Still working fine for me!
Ciao e più grande del nano power a?? O hanno le stesse dimensioni??
Grazie

Yep, these work with the standard Switch charger. Thanks for watching!
can i use it with phone??
Can headphones be plugged into the controller?
Not with the wireless controllers, but PowerA's wired and Fusion pro controllers do have headphone jacks. Thanks for watching!
I got Pikachu but I’d has 25 on the middle as part of design is it limited edition or something

@@NeiltendoPower yes I buyer it last week for 40 pounds of Argos I think that’s like 45 or 50 dollars
Argos also has the other Pikachu ones with a 25
Is there somewhere we can source the Li-on battery packs for these? Are they the same as 1st party?
Also looking. I have two of these and the packs die if you leave them off the charger for a while. The packs get low and refuse to charge.
I bought the Power A fusion & I can't remap the face buttons, will this controller allow the face button remapping?
Unfortunately no, I don’t think any of Power A’s controller work with the Switch’s remapping feature, just the extra buttons on the back
Does it have gyro?
Doubt Nintendo would allow that since it would compete directly with their own controller
Just bought this controller in gamestop and the left joycon drifts down. Any help with this or should I just return it? Shame because it feels so nice
