- Full disclosure, this was my first real attempt at portraits using the fibre optic brushes. Lucky I didn't poke out Harrison's eyes (please be careful).

Little tip, you can use a hair clip at the base to spread the brush. Just use one that is not too strong so you don't damage the fibers.
Also when you approach the person with the brush you can aim the fibers at him when you bring it in position outside of frame which gives a touch of light to the face to pull the shadows a bit up.
