Take a ride on the Drop Tower loacated in the scream zone as you get lifted up 26 stories (315ft) high. You then get held up at the top eagerly waiting and not knowing when you are going to drop. Just when you least expect it you get dropped all the way to the bottom and come to a stop in a matter of seconds at Kings Island in King Mills, Ohio.

i had been on Orion, Diamondback, Beast ,and Mystic Timbers all before i went on Drop Tower...Drop Tower honestly scared me the most lol

Went on one of these last week, scared the crap outta me but it was so fun and so worth it

I went today with a couple of my friends and my closest friend cried so bad on it and just started balling her eyes out. But later we went on again and it’s honestly not that bad I guess just how high it is and I’m 126 lbs and my but still lifts off the seat.
it’s so fun but omg just be prepared if you go on it. i thought it would be like a roller coaster where you can see that your like in a seat and feel safe but you kinda go up and my soul kind of left my body half the time and i was out of breath afterwards cause of the shock but it’s so fun

When I first rode this (and even when I ride it now) I always think I’m gonna die on this ride, but it’s really not that bad. The only bad part of the ride is the anticipation of the drop. But, I don’t know if you know this. But they way to know if your about to drop is if you listen carefully, you can hear these clicking noises, and then it’s like 3-5 seconds before you drop.
yes i can, the first time i ride this when i was like 11 i heard the click and i had my eyes shut and for some reason thought i was at the bottom, but no i was all the way at the top and then we dropped

I rode Orion, Diamond back, those crazy tall swings but when I rode this it hit different.

Honestly I loved this ride because 1. The view you get us AMAZING and when you drop it's like a relief cause yiu feel like your whole body is being pulled away and when you get to the bottom it's like a whole new body and you feel refreshed I guess u would say lol loved it !

This is the only ride I'm not going to ride on Tuesday when I go to KI. I despise drop rides. The only one I have ever liked was the Tower Of Terror at Disney World. And that's only because of the bad ass Twilight Zone theme.

I love all rides, drop towers are boring because when it drops you, it drops you half way and that takes the fun out of it for me.

It's actually not that bad. At first, on your way up, you're all like "oooooo so pretty. Nature is so pretty! Look at that view!" or if you're like me on the way up you're all like "well I could die this way... I wonder how people would think of me if I died today... I wonder who'd attend my funeral" and when it drops you're all like "KILL IT WITH FIRE! BURN THIS RIDE DOWN!" and when it's done you're all like "what just happened?" but yeah it's nice :)
When I’m high up like that I get more scared that the tower is gonna tip over when you’re at the top

I remember i rode this with a friend and when we got to the main top just sitting there he asked me "heads or tails?" and i looked over and saw him flip a quarter off from the main top of the ride LOL
I’ve read this many times and the first time I did I was around 6 or 7 because before I wasn’t tall enough. So my grandma took me on it, I started crying and saying “I never want to do this again” as I’m balling my eyes out the thing clicks and we drop. After exiting the ride I said to my grandma “that wasn’t so bad. Will you take me again?” And my grandma told me this story recently cause I didn’t remember and she said she was thinking “why did I do this I shouldn’t have done this I’m never taking her on this again.” And I just died of laughter. I just went today and let me tell you, do the water rides last!! Trust me I’m saving you from a lot of pain!!

I hate drop rides but i absolutely love rollercoasters.
My favorite ride even though I had to get squeeze into the harness to get the short safety belt to latch which got in.
I still like the fact they are playing my favorite Van Halen song, "Right Now"
I just went to kings island with my school for a choir trip and when I rode the drop tower I almost passed out on this ride and the vortex😂💀

I was in line I was like “IM SO EXITED” when we started going down I regretted it
I went on that thing before and it was great. It slowly took me to the very top and it let me enjoy the view for a minute, then it dropped me back down in a flash.
I remember riding this ride for the first time when I was only 10 years old and was scared but I actually enjoyed it lol. 😂😂😂

I think the windseeker is the most beautiful ride in Kings island the view and how you can take your shoes off and feel the wind through your socks

As a teen me and my friend would ride this over and over. A lot of days the line was shorter than most other rides, so we would just ride it nonstop. Now, 20 years later, as an adult in his mid 30's, you couldn't pay me enough to go on this ride again. lol Jst like my first rollercoaster ever was the Son of Beast, but now you wouldn't catch me on that coaster if it still existed. lol I sort of miss the days where my child like naive self allowed me to get on rides like this. lol

Me and my friends went here and only me, and one other girl were brave enough to ride this so we did and when we got off my other friends were staring at us like we just jumped off a building and survived

Drop of doom at magic mountain looks way more intense then this one first of all its 400 feet high and when you are at the top the ride it starts shaking and after I got stuck on it it is even more intimidating when I ride it

The first time I went on this, I was fine, just a bit wobbly afterwards. Second time I go on it, it scares the total shit out of me.
@callmemarc It's been closed because they had to order a new part from Intamin and their company is across the world. Plus when it's delivered they have to install the part and test the ride to make sure it's safe. It might not be open till mid June or even early July only time will tell.

Not as scary as real life, but that is kind of a given. My heart was out of my body and my soul was in a whole new universe, I was scared the time I did it.
Kings island is the best I love it so much but I moved to FL so I can't go 😖

I used to be petrified of coasters, I went from holding tight and being scared on the racer, and now going on the delirium diamondback drop tower windseeker, what happened to me? I'm 11 so.

Anyone know why this ride hasn't opened yet this year?
The 3 clicks (when you get to the top?) don't happen anymore, so when ur up there there's not a little pause you just go straight down, and crash into the ground, so they shut it down to fix it ;)
It was open last time I went, I think Monday. It's hit or miss with this ride because it breaks down so much.
It was running when I was there yesterday, July 11th. They have a lot of mechanical issues with it, so it's not always running.

umm no Kings island opened April 27th 10am to 10pm I was there on Saturday and it was very busy... everywhere you went. lines was outside the waiting stations

It sits at the very top, onces it makes a complete stop cause it moves ever so slightly at the top, after 7 seconds it will drop
my mom rode this ride when she was in highschool and she told me she was with her boyfriend, and right when it dropped she like had a heart attack and the ride operator was like "mom your gonna have to get off the ride or your going again" AND MY MOM WAS LIKE NO WAY. she couldn't even WALK LOLOLOLOL HER BOYFRIEND HAD TO LEGIT CARRY HER OFF OF THE RIDE
