HUGE yard TRANSFORMATION that ALMOST got the best of me! Renter had passed away & needed help!

- This property was so overgrown and taken over by vines. It took about everything I had - but I was so happy with how it turned out. I spent 9 solid hours and could probably do another 9! So glad I came upon this place as they needed the help. Thank you all for watching and joining me on this journey to bless others!!

What I have learned from watching these landscaping videos: don’t ever put up a chain link fence; don’t plant ivy; think twice about planting a hedge; get an edger; get a flat shovel; get a leaf blower; get a rake; get a weed whacker; and for Pete’s sake, don’t wait until your yard looks like these yards before you use your tools.
And always walk the yard before you mow.
Ivy is ,I believe, a invasive species; it can grow anywhere. Don't let it grow on trees because it will: damage the bark, keep dead limbs stuck in the tree, and can cause the tree to be unbalance which can cause it fall

& don't ever ever get to old to use said tools. 🤣🤣🤣
Also get a riding lawnmower if you can afford one and also get a wheel barrel.
I agree with the guy below. When my husband and I were young and renting we always did the yard work and when we were in a duplex we did both sides. We always wanted to leave a place in better condition than when we came. When I see you so kindly helping able bodied people I am amazed by their laziness. Growing up my dad always said, "Do it right the first time or you will be doing it again." We were trained to work and respect what we owned.
I am in my mid 70’s now but I remember how good I felt after mowing, raking and clean in up our yards. A great feeling of satisfaction!
Don't ever be scared to ask for help, even if it's from family members. You're just one man. I love watching your videos!!! Thank you for all you do. The renter should have helped you. If I lived there, I would have.

You did a hell of a job in that yard. That roommate should of appreciated you doing the work and come out to help you since he lived there. I bet he didn't offer you a drink of water. He looked well capable to help you even if it was just help you rake or sweep. People, I tell you. I will stop my ranting and raving now, but that just gets under my skin. That yard wouldn't have been done the way you did it if he paid someone else. Awesome!!!

Whoever was living there, they obviously never tackled those fences and hedges; and the neighbors got stuck with it, too, because of that neglect. Bless you for all you did. You’re a much nicer person than I will ever be. 😊❤

What state are you in…..Florida? I’ve never seen vines like you have them in USA. We have them in Canada too but not nearly as prolific, thank goodness.

For ANYONE to be living there blows my mind! 🤯 Sean, this was an ABUSIVE lawn 😢 The grass was even so thick! They could have hired a lawn service years ago...no excuse! When you do things to bless others, you just gotta know God's watching and is blessing you and giving you the strength to not give up 😊 You inspire me to be better today than I was yesterday 😊❤

I'm fairly new to your channel....I love it. Always been a hard worker, just like you..... The way I was taught. My dad always told me not to hold back my strength and fortitude, even though girls weren't expected to do hard work where I came from. But I had to, and I loved working with my hands. I'm almost 80 now.... Still going, just slowed down. I'm my young years, I would have been right beside you... Getting it done! God bless you and your wife and family. It amazes me none of the neighbors ever offer to help rake, sweep, move limbs, or get him some water, food, or a cold drink.
Or the renters.
They are obviously trashy people who are not only lazy, but also too cheap to pay someone
A lot of the neighbors give him water and snacks.

Amazing transformation! A lot of hard work. The landlord should have taken care of that. Shame on him. Cutting that fence line was like sheering a sheep! You have an awesome wife that supports your efforts and brings you meals, what a power couple. Good way to set a good example for kids! Your family is awesome.

I sorta cried when I saw the side to back yard. It must be hard being married to someone not into lawn care - with that much upkeep. Big!

What I’ve learned from watching these videos is that Sean has the biggest heart and the tenacity of a pit bull! Thank you for teaching me life’s little lessons… if I can, do, if I can’t, find someone who can help me do it, and if I truly am unable to, then find a good hearted soul who will do it for me… but never without heartfelt thanks and appreciation!

That was one formidable effort and result. My body is aching just watching. My one pet peeve though, in general, is please get behind the bushes, hedges, etc and get them off the house (siding, brick, fences). The vines and woody weeds are heavy and start to pull down on the fences, in particular. It’s probably a lot of extra work but it makes a world of difference. I enjoyed watching from the comfort of my house. 😁

This guy has the greatest weedwacker line every invented. Of all the channels I watch, I see everyone stop to redo the line, but not this guy hahaha.
