My 7 yr old granddaughter asks to watch "Stockman". We discuss how people are to take care of each other when you are able to do so. Not when the owner wants to be free of the possibility of a accident from renters who don't have the capability to operate power equipment or climb ladders. Rents are higher than they ever were!😊
It's amazing that the renter and/or owner didn't help. They're getting this for free, at least they could help pick up piles or something. At one point somebody came out to watch, stood there briefly with their hands in their pockets, then went back inside. Unbelievable.
These landlords get all the money and do nothing to make it liveable.

I like watching you. There seem to be a lot of rundown, trashy areas in your town as well as some really beautiful ones. One area at a time, you’re making the less pretty areas look their best.
The greatest part is that you do everything with such a handsome smile and positive attitude.
So many people on RUclips do good works for people and my heart is always warmed by their generosity of time and concern. But like others that have commented on here, you go one step further in doing things like fixing a fence or fixing a downspout and being as thorough as you can be. Another thing I like about your process is letting us know what's going on when you get a chance. I like that because it makes a better connection of your efforts. Thanks for all that you do.
I watch a lot of these videos, and I think yours are the best! You are the most thorough, conscientious, and loving person I have ever "met"! I just loved when the landlord drove by and said, "this is my property". Well then, clean it the f**k up! You have tenants! Sorry, just my little rant. Thank you for doing this. As they all say to you, "you are a blessing!".

First I love what you are doing for your community. However what sers you out from others is you dont just hack things down. You pick up the extras, you mow the lawn until it looks nice, not just one or 2 passes. You rake, trim, and care for it just like you were being paid or it was your own. Great job. Well, that was starting to run behind, but far better to get it cleaned up now than another foot or two taller. A nice gift renewing things and I'll bet the neighborhood enjoyed it as well. Likes: raising the front tree and making the house better framed; re-defining the driveway; cutting back the attacking shrub; tackling the house shrubs that were taking over, losing light and risking damages. That was a huge lot to mow, and you braved the gutter as well. Glad the owner appreciated the help. Nice work.

Those corner lots sure are a lot more work. I know you work hard but you make it look easy. I like how you do some work then clean up...and on to more work and clean up. I live in MI also and moved back here after living in Va Beach (I know, I know) but I missed winter! I was looking forward to seeing snow again but that year VB got more snow than Michigan! 😖

The owner could have offered you something for all the work you did, however, I see it here where I live, that some owners don't care about the house or yard, as long as they get their monthly rents. It's also sad that you are doing what the city/town should be doing with their maintenance departments. Keeping the sidewalks clean and safe is their job. The owner has one heck of a nice van so you'd think he'd pay you something for your hard work. Great work as always.

Not a criticism, my preference. Cut the overgrown large shrubs to 4 feet high. Ones next to house 2 feet high or less. They grow back SO fast.

It’ll all be an overgrown mess again in no time. Who’s going to maintain it? Nice to see it mowed and trimmed though at least this once.
A shaping of the bushes would be great too.
Sometimes renters are living paycheck to paycheck with no extra funds for lawn tools. They do the best they can but if you can’t afford a mower what are you going to do? I think lawn maintenance should be part of the lease. Where I live in Alabama it is usually included in a persons lease. Not always but usually. Depends on the landlord.

I am by no means an expert in trimming bushes. I did think you would square them up. I was surprised that none of them were even on the top or sides, but I guess squaring them up is the old way of doing it. The edging, mowing (and trimming) look great!
