This community owes you both a tremendous debt of gratitude for performing all these backbreaking tasks that eliminated a security risk a health risk and an unsightly mess that no one else including the city bothered to address. Well done and a big thank you for your hard work, kindness, and attention to detail.

If this happened in a neighborhood that my dad lived in he would have done it by himself. Old school WWII Marine. That generation didn't need anyone to tell them it was the right thing to do, it was innate. Plus he loved his riding mower and probably would have used his 1930's tractor to pull things down and grade. Different mind set than people today. You two have restored my belief in mankind. well said. the problem with public workers is that they are paid the same whether they do a job or not. they would do anything to do it as slowly as possible, with less accuracy, and to pull through to the end of the week by staying in one place. unions are a great thing as far as care and safety are concerned, but they have also greatly lowered the level of a sense of duty and professionalism. private initiative is made up of people who really want to work and know how to do it well. greetings from Italy, Alessandro
